Cherry let out a small scream at the branches snapping and started shaking a bit. "I suggest that if we continue, we proceed with great caution. The 'children of death and suffering' do not sound pleasant." After regaining her composure, Cherry said, "Yeah, I agree. But I really want to know what's in there... I wonder if I could use some of these sticks for anything, they look pretty sharp." Cherry inspected the branches as the pair walked into the arch slowly, with Knight constantly looking around them.

Oh wow I'm sorry just got out of an examXD

As you walk through the arched canopy you ac hear the mad cackles of nixis. And bones scatter the ground.

Knight shuddered at the thought that these creatures killed Sylesties. He whispered to Cherry, "It is a good idea that we leave now. This place only harbors ill intent, and it is clearly not safe." Cherry was not phased by the creepy laughter or the bones, and responded, "Oh come on, Knight, these might be from Sylesties who attacked them! Or maybe they aren't even real bones! And if they do attack us, I can summon up a force field and we can make a run for it. Although, I'm not really sure how to do that, or how much energy it would take..." With Cherry's optimism and Knight's knowledge that he can't leave without her, the two continued further in.

(That's fine, I understand! ^-^ And I swear, Cherry's gonna get them both killed x.x Too bad I really hate changing personalities when I already have them set! XD)

The two continue on their journey. After a moment the sounds stop and they are left in dead silence with the scattered bones.

Cherry and Knight continued on the path, not speaking. Knight got curious of the bones and picked one up to look at later. Cherry, meanwhile, was nervously looking around her trying to make sure they don't get ambushed.

They collect bones X1. They continue on and can see a dim foggy clearing ahead. The closer they get to the clearing the louder the laughter from before became. continue or turn back?

"The sound of that laughing alone puts me in a state of anxiety..." Knight said with a shiver, and mimicked it for a couple seconds before Cherry told him to stop, "It's creepy enough that you can mimic sounds, please don't mimic that one!" They decided to try and find the source of the laughter, and started walking to where they thought it was.
