Ignore my last post this is my submission. I know it is short but I like the concept. Plus I was busy this week and couldn't work on silent winter. Also this is not a poem so view it more as a story.
The Little Glass Jar
Since childhood
I had a little glass jar
Inside it I would put anything that would catch my fancy
A pebble, a coin, a loop of yarn, an old button
As soon as the jar would fill
I would toss everything out and start again
So it went on till this old age
And now I am frail and dying
As I sit in the hospital bed I can no longer move from
I understand-
Life has a jar it fills as well
And I am just a button
About to be thrown away

actually no wait, shoot, never mind, (apparently I wrote 'AM' instead of 'PM' for deadline, so i guess i'll judge tomorrow...yay timezone confusions....and by 'tomorrow' i mean in a few more hours....forgot i had schoolday so i'd wake 'earlier' lol)

No need to worry, I finished my thing. I changed the entry to a poem. It's also kind of a prophecy. The whole thing was slightly inspired by the need series, but it was my own work, and I'm proud of myself. I didn't think I even had what it took to make practically all of it ryhme!
