Flight woke from a small nap and exited the cave. she jumped from rock to rock to the highest one on top, she sat down and gazed over the Savannah, she needed to find members from her pride. she took a deep breath and let out a roar, it echoed over the plains. every few minutes she roared and tried to find them.

Suddenly, a pack of wild hyenas had Chep surrounded. They were barking and laughing. "Hey!" a hyena laughed,"I found dinner!". Chep hissed at the one that called her dinner,"I am not food!" she yowled. Then, one of the pups came in her face,"You are now!". Chep clawed at the pups face leaving his eye bleeding. "Now! None of you try to eat me and you will all be fine!" Chep hissed. One of the pups ran out in to the circle,"Hayana!!" she checked out his eye.

Flight heard the sinister laughing of hyenas, she looks and see's a cub surrounded by them, her blood boils. she leaps down and roars at the hyena's, they look then separate and try to surround her, she identifies the leader by the size and battle scars. she claws at his back and bites his leg, he yelps and the pack joins him. Flight leaps to the cub and stands over it in a defensive position with her snarling and bearing her slightly blood soaked teeth. the leader hesitates then the pack runs off. Flight makes sure they are gone and looks at the cub, "Are you all right?' Flight asks the cub

As the male spring up Alhena stand up ''well, this is interesting let see if she go back to her mom would you.
