"We then you better get to looking, because by wolf time your almost ready." He was getting annoyed. Why could other wolves not just leave his territory alone!

(a gift, like in giving gifts in mating rituals, I guess fights would make more sense)

"Ok then take this as an offer." He uncovers a fresh dug pile, pulling out a chicken. "Here." He lays it at her feet. "When the times comes I would like to be your mate."

"I may have stole it from the humans...." He indeed had, costing only a sore mouth from having to chew through the cage. "I though you may have liked it." If it meant that she would not have to be banished then it was a fair prize, but what if she did not take it?
