"Let's find the stairs then. I'll be right back," Kestrel said, jumping into the air and flapping her wings. She shot down the hallway, looking for stairs. She found a set of stairs, but some of the steps were missing, and the whole thing looked rickety. She put one foot on the first step, testing to see if it would hold her weight. Apparently, it didn't like having someone step on it and it fell. Kestrel jumped back, annoyed she hadn't caught it. The second time I've made a loud noise. She stood on the edge of the stairwell, trying to see if anyone was there.
(Poor clumsy Kestrel!)

Lark grinned at the disappearing act, before jumping at a loud crash coming from further down the hallway. "I bet it's those people from the picture." she said, once again throwing the camera into the air. When it returned she reported, "The girl with wings it standing at a staircase. I don't know where the others are though." She slipped the camera into it's pouch on her belt and grabbed a knife.

(I'm gonna wait for Razor... Oh and I forgot to ping you last time Razor! It's on the last page >.<)

Daniel followed Kestrel down the hallway. "Well with you around we won't have to look for anyone, they can just follow the sound of destruction." He joked, looking down at the broken staircase. "Hm... Maybe I've got something for this." He started checking his coat pockets for something useful to help him descend the stairs without injuring himself.

Just giving Bmr a chance to reply.

Martha followed the two. She hated it when her magic didn't work. Sure she could fight a little but magic made her feel better. She looked down the steps. She smiled and joked. "If I trusted my magic we could be down there in a few minutes."


Ghost heard the crash and followed the sound not bothering to lift her hood to make her visible again. "I'm going to go investigate." She told the other girl and left turning the corner and seeing now all three of the people at the top of the steps. She pulled out her grappling hook and shot it into a hole in the stone wall behind the people.

"Or I could just carry you guys down," says Kestrel opening her wings. She punches the boy lightly on the shoulder for his comment about the noise she was making. She was glad she didn't have to rely on magic. She trusted her weapons and wings more. Although that spell Martha used on the boy earlier was pretty cool. She jumped at the grappling hook and immediately peered over the edge of the stairs. She tensed, unfolded her scythe and stared into empty space. The grappling hook ended in the hands of some invisible person. "Make yourself know!" she said in a menacing voice.

Lark heard someone shout and quickly ran down the hallway. She stared up the stairwell at the girl with hawk wings from earlier. She tensed, waiting for someone to make the first move so she could react to it.

Martha was almost glad that the grappling hook interrupted Kestrel, she really didn't want to fly down with her.

Ghost groaned, "You don't have to be rude! I was just trying to help ya." She yelled ignoring the matter in which the other girl said what she said. Ghost pulled off her hood and her outfit turned into a light grey tone. "You guys want to come down right?"

Kestrel immediately put her scythe away. "Sorry, you can't be too careful when you just got magically teleported into some strange place with no idea who brought you there," she said as she jumped of the staircase and landed on the floor in front of the girl who had just appeared seemingly out of thin air. Her trust was semi-fake. She knew the girl could turn on them, but she would be ready if she did. For know, she decided to trust her.

Lark relaxed, but stayed back from the others. She turned her gaze to the two people at the top of the staircase, wondering if they knew anymore about this place then she already knew.

(Let's wait for Razor.)

Daniel tugged on the grappling hook string to test it then gripped it tightly between his hands and slid down. "Uh, thanks." He said uncertainly glancing between the two girls. "So have you searched this place yet? Maybe found anyone else?" -Like another guy- He added in his mind. Daniel began to feel a little outnumbered.

Ghost smiled at them. "No you can't. So what makes you think it's magic?" She looked up at the last girl at the top of the stairs. "Come on down, I don't claw like my mom!" She turned to the one guy. "No, this is as far as we got." She smiled when she noticed that he was greatly out numbered in the guy department.

Martha got a bit closer to the line. She actually hated sliding down things from heights. It had always been her thing, especially when she couldn't use magic. She pulled out some rope from her belt and put it around the line and pushed off from the wall. She slid down and stumbled a bit. "Guess I should have practiced with dad more...." She said not even thinking about it.

(Still don't say anything about who dad is ^^)
