Firstly, I'd like to preface this with: I think the art is amazing and I hated watching the artist drawing / shading / creating them because I realized how awesome I am not. (It was a compliment, I promise).
So I really like the old Qitaris. And I never like change. But, I LOVE the revamped male qitari. I mentioned in chat a few times that he looks like a model. And should be running in slow motion on a beach at sunset.
The scales do seem a bit large, on the male more-so than the female. But that doesn't bother me too much. However, I am really not a fan of the female. I've been trying to put my finger on why I don't really care for her. The first thing I think when I see her is like... ... I dunno...
Okay here:
The adult male looks like an adult male. Someone in his mid twenties - thirties.. Has his own place, a stable job (modeling, of course), and enjoys fine wine and dining.
The female looks like a 12-13 year old. Not that being 12-13 is bad, of course! Just, she doesn't look like an adult. She looks happy and care-free, and maybe a tiny bit goofy (in that kid sort of way).
I guess my point is they don't seem to match, age wise. Since these qitari are pretty far along, I doubt you guys would redraw her. Not that I blame you. But maybe something could be done with the eyes or mouth / muzzle to make her look less wide-eyed and innocent?
Still very impressed. And worse case, I just fill my stables with handsome qitari models.

I love it, but are the stripes a new gene, or are they permenate? Also, The scales are a bit large on the adults, but perfect on the hatchlings. I cannot wait to see my new stables!!! :D

They are the Zebra gene. We are changing it so the current Zebra gene is called Okapi and then Zebra will be a full body striped gene.

Oh man, I am so down for the idea of scale mutations on Qitaris. And while I see what everyone's talking about with the scales on these, personally I kind of like how it makes the textures between scale and fur more obvious, and I don't think it would take too much changing to make the scales look less poofy/heavy- really hope we do get a heavy armor scale mutation tho, goodness gracious, that's be fantastic.
And the hatchlings! I'm absolutely in love with the hatchlings, and their floofy hair, yes, please, I'll take five dozen!
My biggest bit to criticize isn't actually the scales or the pose, but the adult female's face. Her muzzle feels little bit on the long side to me. Then again, she is a horse, so long faces are to be expected.
Oh gosh, the revamp isn't even actually out yet, and I'm already looking forward to the next one! *crossing fingers for making Sylvorpas even more fantastic*

I CANNOT stop looking at the boy hatchling... He is just... Soooo.... CUTE!!!!!
The babies are always adorable.
The adult male is so handsome and the Adult Female is very pretty.
There was nothing wrong with the old version, but I like this one as well. What I like about this one, is that they are kind of in motion, like... The girl looks like she is kind of jumping or something. I can't really explain but if you understand then, yeah. I don't know what else to say... I Love It! Can't wait to see them on my Qitaris!
Thank You sooo much for your hard work!

I'm gonna have to agree, they do look much better now! Still not my favorite species but I'll probably own a lot more because of this.

They look amazing!! (And this is coming from an avid Qitari lover, I mean, my starter is a Qitari and I have a massive herd of them) I am so so so soooooo excited to see what all my little babies will look like when they're revamped!
The only issues I see with them would be the adult female's leg-to-body proportions are a little off, I think her legs should be a tad bigger. Also on the female, I think the nose doesn't need to go so small right before the muzzle, if that makes sense? Pretty much, the lines go too far in towards each other, right before the end of the nose, making the end look a little too big. It's not a huge thing, just a small adjustment.
The scales seem overly large (though that may be because I'm so used to the current design which has tiny scales) but it doesn't look bad, certainly something I could get used to!

I don't know if I am going to be the black sheep on this or not ,but I don't like it. It looks to cartoonish to me.
