To be clear... :3
A soft ending means that each time a person bids, the time is extended a certain amount of time until no more bids are posted to prevent sniping. For an example, if someone places an offer at 12:00, the auction would be extended until 12:10 (going by your 10 minutes). Then, if someone were to place a counter offer at 12:09, the auction would be extended until 12:19, etc.
This is to prevent sniping. If you just extend the auction 10 minutes, it only postpones the inevitable sniping. The only reason I'm clarifying is I've seen confusion about it before and I've seen people lose auctions not knowing that this was what it meant. c:
Is this what you meant, Fresh? Or is the auction a hard end?

Oh yeah, I see how that could cause confusion. I meant that if a bid is made, 10 minutes will be added. Bids must stand for 10 minutes to win. A bid at 1156 would extend to 1206, if outbid at 1204 than 1214. I guess a soft ending? I'm new to auctioning so I wasn't really aware of the lingo. :)
