"Ok, look, how much is it to free the kid from the whole shebang?"

She had only one thought in her head. Free the kid and make him owe you.

Waltz appeared to relax and assumed a nonchalant posture, but inside she was tense. What was with this guy? "Okay, listen. What did this guy do to owe you?" She asked Feiht calmly, trying to figure a way to talk her way out of this.

"You're bigger than him, so he's clearly not threatening. Neither of you is too beat up, so you weren't really fighting. So what could he possibly owe you? Did he steal from you? Kill your mother? Burn down your house?" Her claws flicked out of her paws slightly, ready to shred this guy to bits if he didn't leave. "And before you think of lying to me or attacking, I'll have you know these fangs and claws aren't for show. I'm faster than you, more nimble, have more natural weapons, you're outnumbered, and I'm certain I'm more intelligent. In fact, you couldn't think your way out of a paper bag!" She shouted, trying to goad him into attacking her so she and the others could force him to leave.

Before he could respond, she continued with the insults. "In fact, you're a devilishly revolting coccydynia and a preposterous, flesh-creeping, plot-less melodrama of uneventful life. Your brain is a frightfully minuscule varmint and you're a miscreant, thick-headed, lamentable mistake by your parent's reckless exchange of genetic material." She smiled, starting to enjoy herself with these unusual insults. "You're a woefully ignorant ignoramus, a villainous, snake-eyed, confoundedly primitive sycophant, and a corrupt, halitosis-infested, shameless exhibition of genetic deficiency."

((Yes, these are coherent insults. Yes, I made them up. No, I didn't use a dictionary.))

Feiht looked at the ladies.

And started to laugh. Hard.

'Oh girly's you make my day.'

He looked at the Vulnix. 'You my dear have a very creative language'which I can admire. You also have a very good imagination but lack some commen sense. Claws and fangs you may have, skill is something you can only compare in fight, not before. I can promise you my dear, I am stronger then I look.'

Then He looked at the tough girl, he saw the way she looked, he liked it. Usualy he didn't make deals with thise who just barge in. But something about this girl seemed familiar. So did the look in her eyes. He knew that look. Maybe better then he would like to admit. He decided to humor teh though girl.

'This kid owes me 10.000 gold for me keeping him alive. Why is none of your buisniss I'm afraid.' The last part was mostly directed at the Vulnix.

'If you are able to pay me 10.000 gold, this guy is free to go. And all this can be resolved clean and fast.'

He turned back to the Vulnix. 'Besides, the kid already made it clear he doesn't want Sylesties to get hurt. Do you want some Sylesties to get hurt? Can you live with that darling? Cause someboddy will get hurt dear, it might not be you, it might be the kid, or the white girly, or miss tough over there, but trust me, somebody will get hurt.

His voice turned very serious and dangerous. 'And trust me again sweetheart, it will not be me.'

Pine had a bad feeling about this. This guy was way to calm! Why was he so calm about this!? What can this guy do to not be intimidated by a Vulnix and being outnumberd?

Pine intervined.

'Feiht, leave them be. Let's just go already, ok old man'.

Feiht turned back to pine. 'Ahh but kid, what is the fun in that? Besides, me and the though lady are talking buisniss here. She give me the gold your free to go, if not we can still go.'

Then he turned to the Vulnix again but he kept talking to Pine. 'And it has been a while sinse I had a good fight, if this girly wants to risk her pretty neck I'm game.' A dangerous glint, and he looked almost excited, like he liked the idea of the vulnix charging him.'

'So you see kid, I either get my gold, or my exercise, fun and chance to boost my reputation. Either way, I win.'

Pine knew. He just knew that if a battle where to happen, things would turn bad, this guy was just to much for now.

He just hoped the Vulnix would calm down, as touched as he was by her help. For her sake. He really didn't want the nice sylestie to get hurt....or worse by the bloodthirsty look that was appearing in the thiefs eyes.

Thief huh? Something told Pine he was more than that.

I'm making Feiht a bad guy who is, for now, to strong. An adventure party usualy starts a bit weaker and grows stronger along the way. In a future chapter they will be able to take him down. Small spoiler. This guy might be more importand than he is sharing. Again not a main character. He will not appear in all episodes. He will be more like a personal demon to the party that will make things hard on them in several adventures. He is the kind of bad guy that doesn't ever really lose, a sour thumb to the party.

Unless one of you main characters don't like that? I ment what I said about all of us having a say. So speak up when you feel like it. I just feel every adventure party needs a recurring smaller bad guy next to the big bads.
I will also make an image of Feiht now. So you guys have a better picture. Also sorry for the big posts. Ill try to make them smaller next time.... hehe oeps.

Feiht The 'thief'.

"I don't have the gold, sorry, but I do have a fireball with your name on it if you don't hand the Zolnixi kid over."
She growled at Feiht, preparing a fireball.

(Ahahah I'm late. Might as well jump in!)

Aria soared about the trees. Not far from the clearing, she said with a smile inside her head. The tastiest berries were on the trees there. As she eyes trees when flying by she heard a small voice farther off - towards the clearing. She immediately remembered that was her destination and soared towards the voices.

Looking down she small a small group of Sylesties. Perching in a tree, she quietly listened in.

(I'm fine with Feiht being a recurring bad guy, he's someone I could really enjoy hating.)

Glitch didn't understand how this guy could be so calm. Did he have allies watching from somewhere? Was he just bluffing? Or was he exactly as strong and skilled as he acted? Either way it was clear he had something planned if a fight were to break out.

"Look, the town is just over the hill, I've been there before. There's plenty of games we can play to win gold so it shouldn't take long to get the 10,000."

After a moment, Waltz sheathed her claws again. "Fine." She said, snarling. "We'll get you the gold in town, and then you'll bug off. But be warned, if you try any funny business, I will not hesitate to use force." The tone of her voice made it clear that she wasn't joking.

"I'll have no part of this, however I can make a bet. If I win all the gold, I'll pay you and take the kid, but everyone else pays me 1,000. Fair trade?" She said in a convincing tone. She could use the spare cash! Plus, the kid looked like the sucker type that would try to pay her back. Extra money.

Pine was a bit in a pinch it seemed.

How did things get complicated so fast.

Pine looked at the tough girl and talked to her. ' Uhm excuse me, I am not this guy's property so you can't 'take' me.'And I really have no time for this. ' Pines look turned from annoyed to sad.

''My Parents where captured by people in black and I have to get to them as fast as I can. Curently the fastest way would be to pay this old man back and start moving again. I can't do that owing more people.''

Feiht started to lose his patience.

'Ok kiddies, this what we will do. Me and the kid will go to the village, anyone who wants to follow can, you can play your games and do your missions there. I get the gold and I'm gone. I don't really care how you deal things with eachother. As long as the gold is mine.'

Feiht started to walk again.'Lets go then kid, cant keep your poor little lost relatives waiting now can you.'

Pine turned back to the girls. 'Glitch go home, your brother needs you, your all he has left. I would go with you, but can't, not withoud them. I'm sorry...'

He turned to the Vulnix. 'Thank you for trying to help, but you should also go back to your home. I don't want you to get in trouble, or to waist your won or hard earned gold on me.' Pine smiled at her.

Then he turned to the tough girl. Not sure if he should thank her, he didn't like the tone in which she spoke about the situation.
In order not to be rude he thanked her anyway.'Thank you, I apriciate the gesture of wanting to pay 10000 gold for only 1000 in return per sylestie, but shifting my dept will not help me much and I don't wnat others to pay you 1000 just to help me. I'd rather the dept be gone completely before I continiu on my journey. So please, do yourself a favor, and just forget this happend.'

Pine nuzzeld Glitch and chased after Feiht. Hoping that the 3 girls would do what was wise, and go home. If only for their own sake.
