So, this is a really stupid question, but I'm stuck in The Forgotten Tomb. How do I activate the seals? I've tried everything I can think of.
Here is a very in-depth guide on the Forgotten Tomb that should answer any of your questions: https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=44033&page=2#11

I really just have one big question that I've been pondering the best way to go about asking, but here goes in the shortest/simplest way I think I can phrase it:
Do you have any plans to refine/improve the fairness of nurture boards? The biggest being the new growth pattern I've seen of some players breeding pets for the purpose of only nurturing/releasing them during boards before everyone can nurture them. It makes it especially hard for players who work- we can't get through the whole site in time to get to the ones players are immediately releasing upon hatching. (Personally it caused me to fall behind ~200 points compared to the player ahead of me last round!) And the midnight reset on it's own is killer enough on some of us in terms of sleep xD But it makes it less desirable to push through that if players aren't being fair during boards :c
I personally wanted to know if maybe making hatchlings un-releasable (like the eggs) until they hit adolescent stage would be a reasonable solution to this growing problem? That way it would make it more fair for everyone across the board (pun intended :P). And maybe a bit more humane than releasing poor defenseless babies in the wild too lol. Especially considering hatcheries are unlimited space anyway (and thank goodness they are! xD)
Just curious if there were any considerations for coming up with a solution to improve that feature in any way to make it more fair for all c:

these are some my ideal i have been thinking
1: more monthly avatar items again love to see more in the future
2: able to costume some pre colored items add a way to color them our self
3: for nuture board if there a way add species list to hatchery so want nuture certain species

1. This might be a little tough to implement, but would you consider adding a way to increase the stats of pets once they are adults (similar to the way certain items in Pokemon can)? I have pets that I love, but they're kind of out-gunned in the later parts of the game. Max Mana in particular makes a huge difference in a fight. Perhaps it could be limited to only one or two per account, and paid through diamonds or some other specific circumstances to acquire? Maybe it could also only work if the pet is infertile to prevent misuse?
2. Is the lost grove still considered a temporary feature?
3. Do you store all the data for "released" pets as well? If yes, how do you plan on storing the accumulated pets over time (especially if the site gets very popular!)

Just curious if there were any considerations for coming up with a solution to improve that feature in any way to make it more fair for all c:
1. I don't think I would ever make it so that Hatchlings can't be released. I think that would be a QOL (Quality of Life) degradation far outweighing any positive to Leaderboard Contests.
One thing I could do, that wouldn't have any impact to anything else, is to make it so that any released pets are still eligible to be Nurtured for the remainder of the day that they were released on. I don't see any downsides to this and it would solve the issue you're referring to. It would take a bit of new coding on my end to make something like this work, but it shouldn't be too problematic to implement.
I will try to keep it in mind and get it implemented for the Spring Festival.

3: for nuture board if there a way add species list to hatchery so want nuture certain species
1. Unfortunately, probably not for the foreseeable future. The Monthly Avatar Items were a ton of work to keep going and caused a few issues. One issue was that it ate up a ton of artist time, which took away from what we could do for Festivals and Events. Another issue came from oversaturation. As we kept adding more and more, it was harder and harder to come up with fresh ideas and participation/excitement in the Monthly Avatar Items declined month after month. And the last issue is, in the end, they were costing more money than they were making.
We may do something kinda similar like it down the road, but it definitely would be way smaller scale and maybe just be an item or two and not full sets.
2. In order for an item to be custom colored, it has to be created and saved in a very specific way. While Custom Avatar Items are a neat idea and, I'm sure, fun for you guys, they've never really been worth the massive amounts of extra time it takes to make it work. The amount of revenue they made was always very small, but took a ton of time to make work and keep updated. Unless a better and more automated system was somehow created, it probably isn't gonna be something I'll be bringing back. I'm sorry.
3. This has been brought up a lot going all the way back to Sylestia first releasing. I have always wanted to avoid an easy way to Nurture specific species because I want to keep all species in rotation for Nurture sessions. A player shouldn't be penalized for wanting to do breeding projects on less popular species and it would be way harder to get those projects going if everyone avoids them when Nurturing. So because of that, I will always keep it so that the Nurturing Grounds operates in an un-biased fashion.

1. I do have some ideas, especially for Starter Pets. But nothing in particular for regular Adult pets at this time. That definitely doesn't mean there won't ever be though. My main concern with such a feature would be greatly reducing the importance and hard work of Max Stat Breeding Projects. So such a feature would have to somehow not infringe on the importance of Breeding Projects. More doors will open for me once Exploration systems are revamped and the game can really open up.
2. Yes. Once Exploration is revamped, it will no longer exist. The Ferrikki will probably be relocated to some other part of the game that will keep them equally as rare. The available Avatar Items will probably be stashed away in some retired feature where players can slowly acquire them if they want. The Themed Pets will be retired and only available from the Wheel of Themed. The Pet Traits, not sure, maybe very rarely available from parts of the new Exploration system. But all of this is still very far away, so there is still beyond plenty of time to explore and enjoy the Lost Grove.
3. I do. Every pet ever created on Sylestia is still retained. I never have any plans of changing that. Data retention capabilities increase at a significantly greater rate than pets are created. Sylestia would have to be churning out like millions of pets a day for that to change and I would hope, at that point, revenue would have increased proportionately and we'd still easily be able to retain all of the pets. =P

Ohh that sounds perfect! If it's not too much of a hassle on your end, it would definitely be a huge morale boost for nurture board participants! Thank you for taking the time to respond, and for thinking of a solution that would work for everyone <3

Question: Any plans to upgrade the pet gear inventory and party menu at any point in the future?
Currently I'm training up a new team, but I want to use the same gear as my main team. (Primo +5 gear; of course I want to use it!) This requires 67 different clicks in total, with 48 of those requiring me to mouse from the top to the bottom of my screen which starts to strain the wrist a bit. (This strain is from clicking one piece of gear on the pet - the slots for which are beneath the image so quite far down, considering - and then clicking into the inventory slots above, 4 times in a row, then going to the other 2 party members to do the same. And then it's the same thing again in the opposite order by taking those items I'd just removed, and clicking those into the other team's armor slots.)
This process can take me like a minute depending on how quickly I can spot the different stables housing the other team. Stressful when I want to go after the Horseman, but need to swap teams first.
Something like a dedicated armory tab along with the party menu would be awesome, where you can move a piece of gear into an armory instead of the regular inventory, and the armory can have slots where you make "sets" of armor and apply all 4 pieces to a pet with one move. Like keeping a "set" for different level brackets for people who level pets; as the pet grows, remove "fire 25" and place "fire 50" for a quick change of armor on the same pet. If you're swapping one team for another, the "set" just stays in place as the party's armor, and you just swap the pet that's in the party slot to get the gear applied.
Just a thought; I'm not even sure if that'd be possible. (But it would be nicer than 67 different clicks, lol)
