Ryu chuckled tiredly and rose slowly, shaking himself to get the dust and rubble off. *thanks for the assist back there.*

Madeline groaned. *did anyone get the license plate information on that truck?*

Asuka blinks at the thanks before her smile widens, teeth gleaming brightly. "I did quite well, didn't I?"

Choji processes Madeline's question, fans whirling as he thinks. "It should be accessible through the security cameras. I'm sure the pro heroes can find it, if we tell them what we're looking for." He quickly gives a concise description.

Ryu grinned and nodded.

Madeline groaned softly. *that was sarcasm. It means my head and body hurts. A lot.* she said, amused.

The faint sound of whirling dies out in the wake of Madeline's statement before it returns with a vengeance, coming in short, huffed bursts of surprises mechanical laughter. "I thought you were getting the motorcycle mixed up," Choji says, voice wavering in light of his amusement. "I was right about to get government insurance filed for motorcycle!"

When he recovers, blades within his head slowing their arcs through bright paint, Choji takes a moment to look around before saying, "I think it's best we save our lunch plans for another day. How does everyone else feel?"

Madeline laughed before groaning. *better, but still sore.*

Ryu just let out a tired croak, looking like he was about to pass out.

Asuka raises her arm, revealing a thumbs up in agreement.

Choji takes it all in and his fans begin to stutter once again, much quieter this time. "In that case," he says, "why don't we wait for the first day of class to meet up again? It's not too far away, and we'll have plenty of time to recover."

The duo nodded, smiling tiredly.

Time flies, and the first day of school arrives.

Choji sits on a bench by the entrance, head bent down as he texts the groupchat he'd formed for the four of them. He's been keeping it alive during spring break, first with the celebration that he'd gotten in despite his previous reservations, then with the realization that they were all in Class A, before settling down to little snippets of his daily life.

Hearing them mention that they've arrived, his head shoots upward, polished metal gleaming under the sunlight as he searches for his friends.

Sure enough, he saw Madeline drive in on her motorcycle before parking it, hopping off and removing her helmet. She looked over and saw Choji and grinned, running over. *hey! You excited?*

Ryu landed on the ground, shaking himself and walking over to the group with a nod and a smile.

Choji gives a quiet laugh at Madeline's question. "A lot," he agrees, an understatement. He's been looking forward to this for all of break. He can't imagine not, given that he's here, at UA. Especially given what he saw during the applications; the others seemed so strong this year. Ah, he's really looking forward to meeting them.

"What about you?" he asks, voice cheery. "Make anything in preparation?"

He notices Ryu and waves him over.

Soon afterwards, Asuka arrives, dropped off by sleek black car.
