Tiamat shook his head in amusement and smiled, following her. Hakaishin got up and followed, chuckling. He asked kindly, *so, whats the life like here? The kingdom is beautiful, and the people weve seen are polite! I mean, they stare, but I get why.*

Walking down the hall with slow, steady breathes eases Sastrugi's offense into something manageable, allowing her to respond to the two's questions with an even tone.
"We live very structured lives," she says, turning down the hallway to the rarely used guest quarters. "Everyone has education, training, and whatever other opportunities they need to succeed."
"What about you?"
They arrive at a pair of rooms, and she stops in front of one, pushing through the door of rippling furs to enter a large room. A thin slab of ice acts as a window, overlooking the houses of the kingdom, arranged in arcs around the palace, and a table and two chairs sit beside it with a bed of pelts is arranged on the floor.

Tiamat smiled at that, and replied, *we live simple lives. We travel and live off the land and what the ocean provides, without taking too much and hurting the environment. When the land cannot provide us any more resources without harming it, we move on to the next location. Were. . . Whats the word you use, Hakaishin?*
Hakaishin looked over. *hermits, or nomads. Basically travelers that keep away from the public and live off the wild.*
When they arrived at the location, the two stared in awe and Hakaishin smiled. *this is beautiful!*

A strange way to live, Sastrugi thinks. No queen or country, no purpose beyond your own desires. There are villages dotted across the ice with dragons that do the same, she knows, but the concept of such a life is a foreign ones. It's akin to drifting in an ice storm, letting the wind take you wherever it pleases.
Even so, the lifestyle is a noble one, to take no more than one needs, allowing the blessings of the world to flourish, lovingly shaped by the gods' talons.
The two's reaction lightens her eyes, pride evident in the lines of her body. Still, Sastrugi holds it back, decorous. "I'm glad that the room is satisfactory," she says. "Would you two like to rest and explore until the festival, or is there anything I can help with?"

The duo smiled, looking around at stuff in awe. When she asked about needing any more help, Tiamat smiled kindly at her. *is it possible we could get something to eat and drink? Nothing fancy. We dont want to interfere.*
