Backstory: He was born to a long strong bloodline, the Merles, and he was next in line for the throne. The riches. The legacy. His family was the second best to the Novas, and closely approaching first. Unfortunately, all of that came crashing down on his 16th birthday, the day of the coronation. A rogue vampire clan got into his house during the ceremony and killed everyone. His parents, his little siblings, all of the guests, and they even managed to track down parts of his family that hadnt attended the coronation. They broke all of the family heirlooms and left him there broken and bruised until the paparazzi realized what had happened and someone called a healer. No matter what anyone did, they couldnt seem to manage to heal the other members of his clan, only him. It was like someone had warded them against healing.
When the members of his previous school heard that he was alive and the rest of his family had mysteriously died, they tried to kill him. Claiming it was only right, so he decided to move to where no one knew his true self, only his face on the media, so he would be able to make friends again, and it worked. Everyone loves him, people fall at his feet. Maybe because of his curse, the deadly sin. Despite having so many friends and all of this popularity, he feels like something is missing. He still cant move on from the tragic event, and has nightmares to this day.

If something doesnt go her way, she gets it anyway. When Jameson came to her school, she realized that it was her perfect chance to make her family even more proud of her. His family WAS second best to hers, so it was only perfect for this to happen, right? Either way, she wanted him, so she got him, unsurprisingly.
