Thanks for the question! Honestly I haven't yet editted my reply in my breeding project forum, and recently the pies (and other items) spiked in gold, so what I've done is, as the first post says, "based off current trade broker prices". So I go and look up the prices, and if there's one really low and one really high, lets say 150k and 200k, I will average it in the middle at 175k. And since this is an auction, once a price for an object has been set, it will stay there for ease of everyone's mind.

This is my first auction, so it's been kind of a learning experience--- next time when I do an auction, all the items will be listed for the price they are worth at the start, so it doesn't leave lingering questions like this. Really sorry about that. ^^;;;
