Beckett huffs, noticing his brother's poor mood, but not knowing how to fix it. "Yeah, I know that," he says, his eyes flickering to the ground for a moment, and then back up to his brother.
"Which is why I was gonna say... I opened a blacksmith shop, and I live in the apartment above it. There's a spare bedroom if you want to stay with me. I'd like to keep you close to me. For your protection, and stuff" he says, as kindly as he can manage.
"Unless, you know, you wanna get out of this city. Which makes sense, it's the only human city we've ever been allowed to go to. I myself was planning on leaving... but there's something making me stay," he says, almost like he complaining, like he was annoyed with whatever was keeping him here.
He was, of course, referring to his secret boyfriend. Nobody in his family knew about Vance, and Beckett has been successfully sneaking out for years to see him.
He wasn't even sure how his family react to him having a secret significant other, much less with that significant other being a man. He closed his hand into a fist, snuffing out the flame that was there. He flicks his eyes up at the sun, which is soon to set, before turning his attention back to his brother.

"Oh, I'd love to! I probably won't survive on my own anyway," He smiles, tightly hugging his brother, "You're the best!" He said, Valentina looked at Beckett, starting to trust him

(I did not intend for this to be so much description... oops)

Beckett awkwardly puts his arms around his brother, patting his back, before releasing him. Then he begins to stroll back to his shop, waving his brother to follow along.
He wanders the stone streets that are a little too familiar to someone who's supposedly only been living in the town for a few months. Before long, Beckett and Enby arrive in front of a shop. There are two large, grey stone chimneys on one side of the building, and one is billowing smoke. The rest of the building seems to be made of faded brown bricks. It has a small, elegantly carved sign out front, with the picture of an anvil on it.
Beckett pulls a key out of his pants pocket, The key is small, about the size of Beckett's pinky finger, and made of a dark metal. He slips that into the keyhole, and a heavy lock can be heard sliding open. Beckett swings the door inward, and a little bell sounds off as the door swings. The floor on the inside is made of smooth, hard grey stone. There are half-finished weapons on sturdy-looking wooden tables, shiny axes and swords, and gleaming shields hanging from the walls. On the side of the shop with the chimneys, which is where the actual smithy's fire is at, there is a large trough of water. There are also tools strewn about everywhere.
On hooks near the door, there hangs a thick leather apron, seemingly for work. Only one of the fires is lit, which keeps the place warm even though it's almost winter and it's getting dark.
"Sorry for the mess, but the upstairs is better, I promise," Beckett says, heading to the back of the shop, where a small, inconspicuous wooden door is.

(It's fine, I don't mind)

Enby smiles, following closely behind his brother. As they entered the shop, Enby looked around, his eyes sparkling as he admired the weapons. He looks at his brother, "Okay!" He follows Beckett

(Do you prefer long replies or shot ones? I'm pretty sure I can make them shorter if I cut out some of my rambling lol
Because oh how I do love to ramble about useless descriptions)

The apartment above is, as promised, much neater than the shop below. After walking up a small, tight staircase, you're faced with another door, which Beckett opens with the same key he used on the shop's front door.
You're facing down a hallway, which opens into a room at the end. There are two doors on each side of the hallway, staggered along the walls. The hallway isn't cramped, but it's a bit plain. There's not much room for any furniture, so it's just the plain wood walls. As you look around you see that the walls, floor, and ceiling are all made of some light wood. The doors have all been painted a simple off-white.
Beckett begins pointing at the doors and saying what they are. Firstly, he points to the door directly to the left of him.
"This is a linen closet. It's extra bedsheets and towels in there, mostly," he says, before pointing to the first door on the right. "That's my room. Shouldn't be much reason for you to go in there, but the door's never locked if you ever need anything," he says, in a voice as non-hostile as he can. "It's the only bedroom with a window, but in my defense, I didn't want any windows facing the street. There are some hooligans that live a few streets down that tend to throw things that shouldn't be thrown, and I didn't want anything getting shattered," he explains in a somewhat irked voice. It seems as though he may've wanted windows on the front of his house.
"The second door on the right is the bathroom," he says, pointing at it. "Fairly self-explanatory. And the last door on the left is my spare bedroom. That one's yours, obviously. It's empty right now, except for some basic furniture, but I can help you decorate later."
He walks to the end of the hallway, and into the room that it opens into. To your right is a kitchen island with some stools tucked underneath, and on the other side of that are shelves, counters, and a pantry. The two chimneys from the blacksmith cut into the back wall of the kitchen, and one of them has a second opening, used for cooking food.
To the left is a small living space, with a comfy-looking couch and matching loveseat. They're simple grey pieces of furniture, but they have beige pillows on them. There's also a glossy wooden coffee table with a pretty chess set on it, and some checkers pieces off to the side
Directly in front of you is a bay window with a seat in it, which looks like it is by far the most-sat place in the house. There are several pillows there, as well as a soft-looking blanket and a small side table, which has a pretty, bookmarked book on it. The seat looks like the perfect size for two people to sit on and snuggle
The whole house is pretty sparse, but it's neat as a pin and it's warm and feels very homey. Nothing like the home you came out of, with its dozens of rooms and almost endless space.
"Well, this is it. I know it's not much, but I hope you can be comfortable here," Beckett says, looking at the floor, embarrassed by how small the place is.

(Anyways I'm sorry again for the length, I'll run out of things to ramble about soon, hopefully)

Aizawa smiled and says to Aether, "I can follow you now to your home Aether,"

(I don't mind anything, really. I like to ramble sometimes, just not as much as that, so I may have a few longer replies as well-)
Enby smiles, "It's so pretty!" He says, in love with the place, " And it's not at all as big as mom's house either-so it should be easier to navigate, which is perfect," He looks at his brother, a wide smile spread across his lips

Beckett lets out a small sigh of relief, glad his brother is happy with the place.
"Well, there's a firework festival in town tonight. I'll be going with... a friend, so the whole house will be yours. There's plenty of food if you get hungry, but I can cook for you now before I leave, if you'd like," Beckett says, scratching the back of his head. He plops down in the window seat, sitting cross-legged and facing Enby, while gently fiddling with the corner of a blanket.

Beckett scuffed his foot on the floor, nervous.
"I... I guess you can come. But I don't know if you'll get along with the person I'm going with," he says gruffly. He takes a glance outside the window behind him, at the setting sun.
"It starts an hour after sundown, so I suppose I can cook if you'd like, but there will be food vendors there, which is where I'll be eating. I also want to change into something a bit nicer," he says.
"Don't worry about you changing," he mutters gruffly, shuffling down the hallway to his room.
