The scene of the hatchling slowly faded as Jason's shaking calmed slowly. He still clung to Ash as if he felt that he'd lose hold and slip into a endless fall. He didn't fully hear him but he begged softly still. Over and over,wanting to just be wanted and not be hated.To not be scoffed at,laughed at,poked at or teased.To just be kept and not pushed away for the better of who knows what.

He kept murmuring what he thought would comfort Jason, not wanting him to dwell on his past. Mostly because it wasn't a very good one.

Soon his words worked,Jason stopped shaking and calmed again,expression a little stressed still and body a bit stiff but he still clung to Ash a bit.

He didn't mind. He didn't see Jason as clingy at all, just wanting to be loved. Actually, scratch that. Needing to be loved.

And that was true,that's something he'd needed for years and hadn't received. Something that hatchlings of the first month always recieved,that always set them up correctly for life,to be strong and be able to push through and have a good time and time of peace to fall back onto when needed..

Jason didn't have that. He had been on his own. Nobody had been there for him.

And his mind automatically fell to that first month as all dragon minds did during hard times,but his only made things worse for him. No one being there for him had made one thought clear in his little mind right then and there...if he wanted to survive,he couldn't rely on anyone...yet his heart has taken him into places that he'd never wanted to be.He'd not wanted to go through this heart brake through all of this craziness...and yet where was his heart? Struggling not to stay in peices and struggling to love yet torn in half.

Of course it would make everything worse for him...his life was just a jumbled mess of...of...bad things.

Exactly,and all of it was written on those papers.First hopes but then the hopes faded to fears and resentment,of hurt and pain and broken past.Written on those papers in that small cave that was used to keep him from making a mess of things in the dragon realm.Even there he had no place to confide without being bothered. He never even got peace in his sleep,that was clear.

But slowly his purple eyes opened,silver tears swelling a bit,and he seemed confused for a moment.That usual confusion that he had when he woke,as if he didn't think anything was real.As if he didn't know where he was,who he was or what was going on. He didn't move though,purple eyes blinking a few times in confusion. "...H...hi."

Ash's brows pulled together slightly in worry, seeing his confusion. "You all right?" He didn't mention on how he saw...well, everything.
