He liked that Ash didn't push him away or pull away,it felt right. It made him happy now that Ash had admitted his feelings and now Jason, for the time being, didn't have to continue ripping at the half of his heart that belonged to Ash. He subconsciously cuddled a bit against Ash,something that hatchlings did in that first month.Something the back of his mind was trying to make up for.

Ash held him close, glad that Jason hadn't gotten off. He liked being so close to him

And he liked being this close to Ash,he purred softly as he held Jason close,His tail curled in and his wings folded snuggly by him. Yellow, rose gold, and pink danced around his underwings and freckles.

Ash watched the colors swirl around on his scales

The colors danced and swirled, twisting together and bursting apart as smoothly as Jason himself danced. It was true, his scales where brighter than Pam's. And that line of pure white scales down his spine with lines of rainbow running from the scales out was still there, bright and a reminder of past events.

He was just glad they weren't black, filled with his brother's will, forcing him to do whatever Shade wanted him to do

Yeah, and the black stuff always burned Jason,no matter what.It ate at him inside and out, burning his body and burning into his mind and even will. But not right now, right now he was just flat out happy and calm. And sleepy.Again.

Ash noticed and began to hum. It was the same melody as before, the night when they had arrived at the cabin

Jason smiled a bit,the tip of his tail wagging faintly but just as sleepily as his purple human eyes where, eyelids lowering slowly but surely. His wings relaxed and laid limp soon as he nodded off...still rather physically exposed.

And still on top of Ash. He didn't mind, though. He kept humming until he was sure Jason was fast asleep, still holding him close
