"Where am I, Scorpino? What do you exactly intend to do? Where are my friends?" She was fully awake now, trying to observe her surroundings.

"Still dreaming. I do not plan to disclose their locations or anything else to you as I assume you will likely use that information to attempt to escape."
She folded her arms. "And I forgot to introduce myself, didn't I? In these parts, I am often known as the Administrator, but as we are once again in the physical world, you may call me Commander Mikoleva Sanmon."

"You said Scias wasn't dreaming anymore, Mikoleva. But I still want to know where I am." Her face was calm, though anger was bubbling up inside. She was suppressing it.

"Oh dear child, you return to our simulation the moment you fall asleep once again as long as you stay in this chamber. We can sustain your sleep and wakefulness, of course, but there is no avoiding it."
Miko stifled a laugh, trying to keep her glasses on her face as she went to cover her mouth. "And well, you've twisted my arm enough, I guess. You are in the prefecture of Kuroyama, close to the once-human city of Shiha. This is one of our research facilities for the main body of our army."

"You are going to use me as a weapon. That's Umbra's plan. He wanted me, so he could rid this place of humans. How can you do tests anyway, with me asleep and all?" She stood up finally, to look straight in the eyes of Miko.

"You are electronically monitored, both through that panel below you and sensors throughout the room. We look primarily into your brain waves. Occasionally we conduct physical tests in person or by machine, such as the case with the Introspector we had implanted into your neck to observe your subconscious."

"Why did that thing electrocute me then? What do you do when you conduct these tests? Can you see what's in my subconscious dream? How long have I been here?" She looked at Miko, questioningly.

"To mantain compliance. You have been here 5 months, in and out of deep sleep. There have been times we have needed to blank your memory such as now, but it never lasts. You are very keen."
Miko sighed, she was growing impatient with the long line of questioning. "And so be it, if I must, I will leave you to rot in the land of dreams." She tapped on a monitor, biting one of her claws slightly as she thought in silence for a moment before the cell filled with a sort of heavy, sedative gas.
"Rest well and let us not speak again, Corasi. I grow very tired of these conversations."

She was fighting hard from the gas. If I'm going to fall asleep, I should at least remember this. She was still awake, her wings drooping slightly. I can't fall asleep. Think about Hexic and Scias. Think about the lives you can save.

Miko narrowed her eyes and tapped the screen again. The cell doubled the gas emitted and she motioned a guard over to watch the cell closely.
What a mess these tests were turning out to be, they were close too..
