"A ten-year-old with help and a ton of luck yes," Ri confirms, "my hope is to one day get to Kanto and meet my heros Moose and his Lucario and maybe just maybe join their team."

"Dude, that's deep. I mean, a Trainer would be nice and all, but I'm pretty content with what I've... eh. Anyways, no. Dunno what you've heard about Skull, but they ain't likd Team Rocket by an avalanche. They're rouges and thieves at worst, nothing in the way of crimnal masterminds in the black market." Slide responded, scratching idly behind her ear.

"Yeah right but they are heartless, cold-blooded, unless numbskulls," Ri turn away from Slide with a far away look in his eyes, "I don't really want a trainer unless they are on my level too."

"Cold-blooded and heartless? Geez, that's a bit harsh." Slide noted. "And nothing against trainers, but hey, most folks who are up on Lanakila already have full teams and are ready to tackle the new Victory Road up there. Nobody's up there to catch Pokemon; not really anyway. So, nice idea, but unrealistic."

"No I'm right about team Skull," Ri glances over at Reveler who is still sleeping, "abadoning a just hatched pokemon who is defenseless into a forest of enemies is heartless and cold-blooded." His eyes have a look of steel in them and a desire to fight not for himself but for others who had gotten the short end of the pokeball in life.

"Heh, guess you gotta bone to pick with 'em?" Slide joked, but then sighed. "...Nah. Wouldn't call that cold-blood. Neglectful, absolutely, but not cold-blood. And I can prove it to ya too."

"You were abadnoned," Ri asks.

"Nah, but I am street smart. But enough about me, what do you know about Skull anyway? Maybe I can show you what I see."

"I watched a skull member abadon a newly hatched pokemon, they are bone heads in every sense of the word, listen to their boss and his underlings, are not that hard to beat up, and are annoying as all heck. Also they have a base in Po Town," Ri recalls.

Slide looked at Ri for a long moment, then leaned back against the tree. "Right, right, I gotchya. But doesn't sound like you know their culture well. Well, long story short, most of 'em are misfits in some respect that're just tryin' to make ends meet. Treat eachother and their Pokemon partners right more often than not. Like family, even. Not sayin' kidnapping Pokemon and stealin's okay, but there's a head for every tails, y'know?"
