when they finished, Ash landed and grinned, tired. *whoo! that was exausting.*

Darius nodded, and said, "Indeed it was. Hungry?"

Ash nodded. *yeah. and i still have conflicting feelings about eating raw meat.*

Darius
"I understand. I only got comfortable with it last year. I normally only cook meat when I have company. The only other reasons I would have a fire is for heat and light. Say, would you like to see my cave?" Darius asked.

Ash thought, then nodded.

Nearby, the other creature watched, curious.

Darius
Darius lifted off, his powerful wings beating, and he flew to his cave, Ash in tow. The cave was well hidden in the side of a cliff, with no way to enter it without either climbing up or down the cliff, unless one flew.

Ash eyed it. *cool.*

the creature raced along from the ground, then began scaling the cliff quickly while stayoing to the shadows.

Darius
Darius flew through the entrance, and produced a lighter from an alcove in the cave wall. He started some straw on fire, and pushed it under the pile of sticks in the middle of the cave.

Ash walked in and looked around. *nice place.*

the creature stayed to the shadows and peeked in, watching.

Darius nodded, and pulled out some salted meat, wild boar, specifically. He began frying some strips on a slab of slate, and the smell that came from it smelled very similar to bacon frying.
