Rei laughed and jumped out of the range of any snapping towels. "Alright alright. I'll make dessert," she said, running back into the kitchen.

Skylar watched him with confused and slightly amused brown eyes. "Why are you hiding? It's not like I'm going to hurt you, considering I'm hurt myself and am lying in a bed I don't think I can make myself get out of." She chuckled a little.

Ruby heard the thump and cleaned her self up and tried to make it look like she wasn't just crying in the hall way."Hey is every thing ok in here?" she asked.

Ghost grinned "i already did!~"

Bone hid even more.

Rei pouted playfully. "Well darn. Guess I just get to steal some chicken every once in a while." She grinned and tried to snatch a piece of the meat sizzling on the pan.

Skylar looked at the guy a moment more then turned to face the cat. "Everything is fine, thank you." She turned back to him and tilted her head, her dark purple, almost black hair falling into her eyes and her nose ring glinting. "Aww come on. Don't make me talk to myself. I'll either go bored or crazy." She thought for a moment. "Or bored then crazy." She smiled at him, her ear flicking and showing off the odd markings covering her that had always gotten her teasing when she was a child. Now though, people either ignored them or thought they were cool.

Ghost slapped her paw away "bad kitty."

Bone peeked out from behind the curtains, flicking his ears. He glanced at Skyler nervously and adjusted his collar.

Rei laughed and scampered away. Jax leaned against the archway that led into the kitchen, his arms crossed over his chest and a smile on his face as he watched them.

Skylar smiled at him then lay back, closing her eyes with the smile still on her face. "Good, I don't want you to be scared or anything." She reached up with her un-cast arm and tugged a little at her own collar with one finger. "They do get a little tight sometimes huh?" she murmured, opening her eyes again to look up at the ceiling, an odd, almost dreamy look on her face.

Ghost diced up the chickwn and tossed it into a salad with arugula, romain lettuce, cranberries and spinach then brought out a lemon cheesecake with strawberries.

Bone nodded "i feel like i know you..."

Ruby just stood there. Her face blank. She mumbled to her self."Well this is awkward..." then said in a clearer tone."Uh, should I leave or stay?" she said her red tail flicking.

Rei bounded into the kitchen and snatched a piece of chicken then ran out again, laughing as she popped it into her mouth.

Skylar looked at the cat. "You can go. We're okay." She turned her attention back to her roommate. "I'm Skylar," she said with a small smile.

Ghost set the table and chuckled then suddenly fell to floor.

Bone smiled, showing his fangs "Bone."
