"No," Orion said firmly. Then his voice softened. "Jora, what did I do to upset you? I'm sorry..." he said, assuming it was his fault she was crying. He slid to the floor to sit next to her.

'Not just him. You too. No one ever notices me, and then suddenly six people notice me.' She asks, confused. "Uhh, a dragon?" Ember asked, the only flying creature that didn't have feathers that she could think of at the moment.

Jora shook her head but didn't look up. "Just, please... I'm ruining your day." She said rubbing her face into her skirt trying o wipe off some of the tears.

Kali smiled at Orion and pointed at Jora raising an eyebrow. She wanted to know what was making Jora upset.

A'ine bit her cheek a little. 'Well maybe we just are better lookers.' She smiled at Ember a little. She looked back at Mitch waiting to see if Ember was right or not.

Mitch scratched his chin again smiling. "Close enough. Ice Dragon." Alderic shouted. "I knew it! It makes sense with you being so level headed and all." Mitch smiled and looked over at A'ine as her expression changed again. "Okay, who's the mind reader here?" He asked quietly to be sure no one else heard him.

A'ine inhaled some of her food and started coughing. reaching for her juice.

Orion smiled and shrugged at Kali before turning back to Jora. "Jora, you're not ruining my day. Just try to have some fun! Stop worrying about what we think of you. I assure you, it's nothing bad," he said quietly.

Ember, being in between Mitch and A'ine, heard what he said and whirled to face Mitch, almost glaring at him,. 'Hold that thought.'

Kali sat down on the other side of Jora quietly.

Jora shook her head and covered her ears. She could still hear everyone from back in her village. She rocked a little. "Just... Leave me alone Orion...." She said starting to cry again.

Mitch laughed a little. "Come on I said I was observant. We weren't talking to A'ine but she smiled a little every now and then. And I was pretty sure she wasn't enjoying that food that much." He said pointing. "So it leaves mind talk and her being crazy, more or less."

A'ine nodded. "Shrewd. Very shrewd." She said smiling a little at Mitch. 'I'm holding it.' She sent to Ember. Then smiled at Alderic who was staring at the guy mouth open. Thankfully it was empty.

Orion put an arm around Jora's shoulder's hesitantly. He shot Kali a helpless look. "Jora, you're not in the village, everything's fine," he said soothingly.

Ember relaxed, "You're right about being observant," she said. "You're the fisrt one to find out without her actually telling us," she said.

Jora shoved Orion away and stood up running away again cupping her hand over her ears. She was crying quietly.

Kali stood up slowly and wrote. 'I already ate. I'll go talk to her you go eat.' She held it out for him to read. Her eyes wide for emphasis.

Mitch's eyes grew wide. "No way! That's pretty cool." He said smiling. He looked over at Alderic who was still staring in disbelief. "Come on dude, I'm sure you can amaze me in some way." He winked at him and turned back to Ember. "So where's those other friends of yours?"

A'ine couldn't help but grin when she went back to her food. 'Someone likes talking to you Ember..'

Orion shook his head. "Thanks for the offer, but-I am I just making it worse?" he asked Kali, sighing.

'S-shut up!' "I dunno," Ember said. "They ran off," she said, wondering why Jora had been upset.

Kali sighed and wrote again. 'No not really but I know the look on her face and I can help her more then you can.' She showed it to him and pointed down the hall for him to go to lunch.

Mitch raised an eyebrow. "Why would they do that?" He smiled a little. "Are they like an item and wanted some alone time?"

Alderic snapped out of it for that. "No they aren't but they should be! We're working on it, right A'ine?" He shoved some more food in his mouth.

A'ine nodded. "We are. But the reason they ran off is hard to explain..." She looked over at Ember hearing her wondering. 'Wait, how upset was Jora?' She sent her eyes getting a little wide.

Orion almost protested, but finally assented. "Just tell her that we're looking for her. Thank you," he said. However, he didn't leave. Instead, he waited for Kali to reply.

'I couldn't tell. All I know is she ran off, and Orion followed. I tried to but...' Ember sent. She put down the sandwich, not feeling hungry.

Kali nodded. 'Good, go to breakfast. I will tell her' She turned and started running down the hall she turned into a Kitsune to find Jora faster. She found her sitting on the floor again... Crying. She rubbed her dog like head against her.

Jora felt a dog rubbing against her but didn't look up.

A'ine sighed aloud. 'Shoot... I hope she's alright...' She sent back to Ember her face looking worried.

Mitch looked over at Alderic with a wide grin. "Are they always so rude?" He asked turning his smile to Ember. It disappeared and his eyebrows scrunched together. "What's going on?" He looked over at A'ine with her worried expression.
