(I don't have younger siblings... I'm the baby of the family. It kinda sucks...)

"Do you think otherwise?~" She said in an unserious tone, she was kidding.

(I'm the oldest. I would disagree with you there, because the parents always test things out with the oldest)

He shrugged, playing along. "Maybe."

(They are still testing things out with me... and the reason why I think being the youngest is bad is because when they leave the house you are alone with your parents until you move out, which for me is in about 2 years... In my situation, my brother and sister are out of state so they can't visit very often.)

She smiled a little.
"Is 'maybe' a yes?"

(Oh...are your siblings in college? And they aren't sick, are they?)

He shrugged. "You take it as what you want to take it. I'm going home." He ruffled her hair as he walked by. Shawn was just confused

(My sister went to college but she finished and married a marine. So that's why she moves around alot... and my brother lives with my sister so he can get his GED, cause he dropped out of school his junior year. They aren't sick, just busy...)

Hazel was annoyed as he touched her hair but she didn't protest. She saw that Shawn was confused.
"Sorry. Ian can be a dimwit sometimes..."

(That's good. I hope it stays that way. I hope none of your family gets the virus.)

He nodded in agreement. "No kidding."

Brook closed her locker then walked over to them.
"Hazel. Let's not miss the bus ok?"

"I can drive you guys home, if you would like," Shawn offered, overhearing Brook's worry

Brook looked over to Shawn then to Hazel for an answer.
"Sure why not?~..." She smiled.
Brook was happy to not ride the bus, she hated the bus...
