Sun tail ran forward with Sorrowpaw and helped her carry Burrshadow,while Otterpaw and the others fought the other two.Once they were close to camp,she turned around and ran back.She clawed the the dogs and bit one viciously on the neck.Otterpaw then scratched another and,with all the cats on the patrol,they sent them running away.Suntail flicked her tail and returned to camp with otterheart.
Grimkit
Grimkit didn't feel well.He kept sneezing,had a scratchy cough,and was really hot and tired."Don't feel very good"He murmured.His mother looked on with anxiety
Duskkit
Duskkit watched Ravenkit and his sister.Ravenkit didn't seem to be able to talk."Hey Badgerkit,is you're brother mute?" He asked

Napoleon bounded after a squirrel, it ran up a tree so he tried to follow, but his plump belly made it hard for him to get his paws and claws on the tree. Sighing, Napoleon caught a whiff of something odd, rancid, he had smelled it before...dog! The exact smell of dog from the Twolegplace was here! But why in a mountainous area? Napoleon shook his head, he could figure that out once the dogs were gone from his new home, so he set off to follow the scent.

Burrshadow lay, limp, her fur cold. Vicious marks layered her throat, all from the dog.

The dog howled in pain and ran away. Jaypaw watched the dogs run away. Then his tail lay on the ground. Burrshadow had gotten hurt. He didn't know how badly. His left ear was shredded, fur was torn from his sides, and he looked at the others. He knew he wasn't supposed to leave camp. But he had.

Ravenkit looked at Badgerkit and nodded quickly, as if to say, yes, I'm mute. Tell them I'm mute.

Jaypaw nodded, then just barely leaned against her. "Is Burrshadow okay..?" He asked quietly. He seemed as if he didn't want to know the answer, but he asked anyway. Burrshadow can't be dead!
