you managed to get out of reach but there was no way down, and the tree still did not seem like it would hold much more weight, and the wolf creatures were testing the trees strength

Jay snarled, then attempted a howl because what else to do?

The bottom of the pond is lush and green and many fish swim there. after a moment the creature rubs its horns against you lightly before lifting its head with another mouth full of food, and looking to the woods where Roan and Amai sat

he shrugged, "See if you have a fouler tongue than these guys" he waited until one was left and jumped down, approaching it cautiously
