He looks surprised when you talk, but says "Hey, I am looking for the neko's. One of them stole a stuffed animal from me and I want it back. Also I want to see them. They are adorable!!' He then turns around and starts to go through their stuff again

It stops at a tree for a minute and you are able to see that it is a nymph.

Wait wait wait wait wait. Pause, what I say in this paragraph is NOT part of the story. I thought I had given the nekoes the strange stuffed animal I got from the keeper. Did they have a additional stuffed animal that they stole?
This paragraph IS part of the story: I tell him that I can take him to the nekoes, but first ask him what the stuffed animal looked like and if he can remember exactly which neko took it
