After making sure everyone was alright, she decided to go find Angel, who she hadn't seen recently. "Angel? where are you?" She called out. Evelyn walked over to Blue "Hey, Blue, right? Have you seen a light cloak named Angel anywhere? I can't find him" Evelyn asked, not knowing where her new friend went.

"Uh, I do not recall seeing a light cloak named Angel recently. If I am to be honest, I have forgotten the name of most of the light cloaks I have met to day, if I do see him I will inform you immediately." Blue said with a smile.

Evelyn nodded. "Oh, I hope he isn't still fighting back in that town, Kai would be so worried!" Evelyn fretted as she returned to her search.

"Kai, Angel, oh, them." Blue mumbled. "I hope I don't see either of them ever again. I've had a bad enough day as it is..." She said quietly.

"Oh, those big babies! I swear, Kai likes to be all big and threatening, but then there he goes whining and crying when he can't find someone" Evelyn ranted.

Blue closed her eyes and sang quietly, quietly enough that none could hear her sing except herself and shadow. Suddenly she stopped singing and opened her eyes. "I'll fall asleep if I sing any more...." Blue mumbled.

"Hey Kubla, you think mommy and daddy know I'm gone?" Evelyn asked her crow, who she was starting to warm up to. "If I remember correctly, Mommy is away on a business trip and Daddy is probably working one of those insanely long shifts, but I left a note, so they'll know exactly where I am" Evelyn told the bird.

Blue took off her bracelet and stroked the charm. "I never have been able to figure out what this charm is supposed to look like." Blue said with a laugh. "I remember I got it, found it while I was playing hide and seek with my dad. I was under his and mom's bed. I asked him if I could have it, he shrugged and said sure, I checked with mom to see if it was her's but she said it wasn't." Blue said quietly

Kubla cawed, causing Evelyn to flinch at the loud sound. "I know they care and love me, I just hate feeling so alone" Kubla cawed again, flapping his wings. "Yes, you're right Kubla, I have my wonderful not-related siblings, and I love them, and they love me" She said, and the crow cawed quietly in contentment.

Blue quickly put the bracelet back on. She sighed and looked at Shadow sitting on her shoulder. "You love to sit there, don't you?" Blue said quietly. "I like it when you sit there Shadow, I know you are ok when you are there, right next to me."
