Katana Lagged behind to walk with him " Hey, I can tell your thinking.... what's up" she asked tilting her head, she didn't want to be intrusive, but she didn't want him to be excluded

Sam smirked, "It ain't anythin' bad, I promise. I'm just not that much of an advocate for humans. Being aroun' so many is nerve-wracking."

She Flattened her ears a bit " I understand, If you want us to go that's fine... Trust me I'd e fine" She said with a forced smile. She Really did want to hurry, but she hadn't eaten much of anything for a couple of days

"I'm not saying we have to leave just yet, but I'd like to go before the office building is closed. It's a bit counter productive if we go there when there aren't any humans to eavesdrop on," Sam said, "I can take a couple hours of waiting before we head back out."

She smiled" It wont be that long, But i'll leave Prying Jackie away from the tuna to you" she said before trotting inside to eat quickly

Sam laughed, his cherry red eyes shining with mirth, "No problem, Sweetcheeks! So long as you keep in mind that that kitty is like a bulldozer. She ain't movin' unless driven to."

Duke looked between the two foxes, wondering just what their relationship was.

He looked at Katana, "Sweetcheeks?"

"You're right, but I'm not drivin' " She called back to Sam Smiling softly. she turned to Duke hearing his question and smirked " Jealous Duke?" She chuckled " just messin with ya', but to answer your real question I don't know, I do know that I trust him and right now that's everything that I need"

Duke snorted, more amused than offended, "Yeah, totally jealous of the pretty boy fox."

He continued, "I trust your judgement."

Hope walked around the police station being very careful. She snorted. "Where was everyone?" Hope asked herself.

Duke turned to Hope, "You remember Katana? Well, she just brought her old partner in here, who was bleeding everywhere, with Sam, this red fox here, and that cat over there who's going to town on the tuna."
