"Yes, but you haven't had breakfast either," Orion said. He was probably being really annoying right now, but he was worried, and he was determined to at least try to get Jora to eat.

"This is Mitchel. He's sitting with us," Ember said, sitting down, shooting a look toward Mitchel, willing him to sit down. She flipped her hood over her face, not liking the number of people in the cafeteria.

(Ember's way of inviting Mitchel to sit with them... XD)

Jora bit her lip. "Well, I'm still not hungry." She said thumbing the pages of her book. She sighed as she saw some of the pink on the pages.

Mitchel laughed loudly. "It's Mitch if you will." He said sitting down. "So what's your name?" He asked A'ine.

A'ine smiled at him. "I'm A'ine and Alderic's coming back with some food for me to try. I haven't been on land too long and he's determined to make me try everything, isn't that right Ember?"

"We'll your going to have to come to dinner whether you like it or not. Otherwise you have to deal with a really angry dragon," Orion said, grinning at her.

Ember smiled slightly. "You should have seen how much he got her for breakfast this morning," she said.

Jora shook her head again. "Why would you even care? It's not like you owe me something." She said then clamped her mouth shut. She hadn't meant to say that. It had just crossed her mind and came out. She continued walking quickly.

Mitch laughed as he set his guitar case down in the chair next to him. "Sounds like I might agree with him on some things." He leaned back in a chair next to Ember. "Thanks for letting me sit here."

A'ine smiled as Alderic returned with a tray twice as full as breakfast's. "Ember, would you like to save me from some of that food and save yourself a trip to getting food?" SHe asked a laugh in her voice.

Orion ran forward and smiled at Jora. "Yeah, but that's what friends do, right?" he said cheerfully, hoping to get her to come to lunch.

"Your welcome," Ember replied. She nodded to A'ine. "Sure," she replied, mouth-watering a the prospect of food

Jora ran faster. She tripped and dropped her book and Naomi. She got up and started running again. She just needed to get away from there. She ran as fast as she could running around corners. Her loose bun fell out but she didn't care.

Alderic put down two trays loaded with food and sat in front of one. "Here you go, A'ine!" He said with a broad smile. He looked over at the new guy. "I'm Alderic the Magnificent, you are?" He asked filling his mouth with food.

Mitch laughed a little. "Mitch's the name memory's the game." He said with a smile.

Orion felt his heart drop. He made her run off again. He decided not to follow her. Not if he kept making it worse. Instead he picked up what Jora dropped and turned toward the cafeteria.

Ember pointed to a sandwich on A'ine's plate. "May I have that?" She asked. She was rather distracted by a thought that had been bugging her since her conversation with Mitch. 'How did you notice me this morning?'

Jora stopped panting. She leaned against a wall and slid down to where she was sitting down. She pulled her knees up and cried. She shook as she gripped her legs so tightly her knuckles turned white again.

(Thinking of having some one find her.... >:D)

A'ine smiled and nodded handing it to her. She looked over the rest of the food to decide where to start. 'Who are you talking about?' She asked biting up a taco.

Alderic smiled at Mitch and swallowed quickly. "Ha! Another of the trade! What class are you in?" He asked wasting no time in taking his next bite.

Mitch smiled. "Bird. Want to try and guess what I am?" He asked to the table at large.

Orion sighed. These were her two most prized possesions. He'd return them to her before he went to lunch. (Yes, Orion I'm sure that's the only reason, just keep telling yourself that... XD) Plus, she did look like she was at the point of crying, and he'd be too guilty to eat if he didn;t try to cheer her up. Orion began to run in the direction she left, yelling her name as he ran. He paused to listen, and heard the fain sounds of someone crying. Oh no, I made her cry! He followed the noises, and found Jora sobbing.

(Is that an okay way for him to follow her?)

'You know who,' Ember said, eating her sandwich. "Do you have feathers?" asked Ember.

(Yup!)
Jora heard someone coming down the hall next to her and turned away from them. She was pretty sure it was Orion but didn't care. "Please, just leave me alone." She said not bothering to look.

Kali had to go back to her class room because she had forgotten her note pad. She was walking back down the hall when she heard to people. She recognized them as the two from last night at dinner when the boy had forgotten his book.

'No, I really don't... wait do you mean Mitch?' She asked smiling a little teasingly as she ate.

Mitch smiled and shook his head. "Not me but other's of my kind might." He looked at A'ine and noticed her change in expression. He noted it and filed it away.
