Jora smiled at him. "Yes I always look forward to seeing the sun rise each day like a promise it made the night before when it set." She absolutely loved watching the sun. She shrugged. "Okay be prepared to be amazed tonight." She blushed a little. "And would you mind if I joined you to watch it set? It's my third favorite thing to do, topped only by painting and watch the sunrise." She asked hoping he wouldn't have a problem with it. While she talked to him she had put her subconscious to thinking of a way to ask him about his problems.

"Actually, I was going to ask you the same thing,because well, I've never seen one before," said Orion. Izzy would be teasing us so much right now. He still wanted to know what Jora was talking about. He ventured a question that was rather unrelated, "Have you ever watched the sun rise or set with someone like a family member, or friend?" he asked, wishing he hadn't added the word friend, since he was pretty sure sh hadn't had any. Either she'll think I'm jealous, or I'll get one step closer to having my question answered. I hope it's the second one.

(NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO *Runs out of breath*OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!)
Jora shook her head. "Not that I can remember. I have had no friends until now," She paused and smiled at Orion then continued. "My mother hates the sunset. Where she was from, they had a curfew and violators are whipped so it brings back bad memories for her. Don't tell her I told you." She added as a side note. "And my Dad is always working. I know he loves me but he has a little problem with himself...." She said thinking of that one conversion she over heard him having with her mom about leaving. He hated himself for dragging her here where everyone avoided saying anything nice to her. "So what were the people like in your village? They can't possible be as judgmental as in mine....." Could they? She wondered.

"I doubt they were. But stereotypes were huge there. Everyone was supposed to be a certain way, and if you weren't... well, there wasn't really any punishment. No one directly bullied or teased. You were just treated differently. I had two friends there, but we weren't that close. Family was always put over friends. The people. well they were pretty nice, but strict. My sister hated it there, and left as soon as she could. I actually think she was the first one to break the rule about the sunset," said Orion, hoping he hadn't made it sound too horrible. He didn't really want her pity. He was more focused on trying to get her to answer his question. "Did you have any siblings?" he wondered where her mom came from were the curfew rule was so enforced. Maybe it was another cursed valley like his.

Jora blanked for a second. That was a lot to take in and then the question I thought I told him about that before.... "That sounds hard. And no. I don't have any siblings. I really wish I did though." She sighed. "But I'm almost glad I don't at the same time. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I did." She closed her eyes shaking her head again. "Mom was different. They just ignore her knowing that she'd be in the right for smoking them....." She didn't like the subject going back to her. She touched his shoulder lightly with her hand. "strict people are never fun." She said that know what having a strict person around felt like.

Orion was hating skirting around the actual question he was trying to ask. He decided to ask her outright. "What did you mean by bigger things, earlier?" he asked, meeting her eyes with his pleading red ones. C'mon Jora, tell me. Please. C'mon. He hoped she would answer. He ignored her comment about strict people, plus it meant that she could relate to him about that. No one should have to have people being unreasonably strict. He didn't drop his gaze from her eyes. He wouldn't until she answered.

Jora looked into Orion's eyes, she realized what a big mistake that was. She wanted to tell him but was scared to at the same time. Sure he got everything else but this was too big. She sighed and grabbed her sketch book flipping back to the one page. She hid it from Orion as she spoke. "Well, mostly it was just normal things like putting worms in my shirt or a rat in my lunch, which didn't work out as well as they would have like." She smiled as she thought of their faces as she not only picked up the rat but petted it as she ate. Her smile faded and she continued. "Well, they kept trying to think of new things to do and it got out that I've never swam and they threw a swimming party at the small lake. I was too busy being excited that I got invited to realize why they might have invited me...." She took a shaky breath in and turned away looking at the much larger lake out the window. "They got me out on the lake and I was swimming just fine. They started a water fight and I don't know who did it but someone...." She thought of how to say it. "Pushed me under and I lost where I was......" She put her drawing in front of Orion. "If the lake wasn't so close to my house....." She cut off shivering. She looked at the younger girl and the red dragon saving her.

Master Alexander smiled as everyone filled the seats. He stood up and spoke loudly at first to get everyone's attention but softened it as he continued. "Good morning class and welcome to Mythos high. I am Master Alexander and I will be your teacher this year. For this first day I will group you into teams of two that will be your partners for the year. You should all have something similar to each other." He put on his glasses and looked at his paper. "The partners are as follows. Azura and Ilena. Keegan and Ilandere. Ember and Tulip. Sam and Josh. Jen and Oceanna. And Arnbjorg and Orion." He looked up and smiled at the students. "Today's assignment. Get to know each other while I fix my papers." He said laughing to himself.

Jora was glad the teacher interrupted them. She wasn't sure she wanted to see Orion's reaction. Then he paired them off, Jora was glad she was paired off with Orion now all she had to do was watch his reaction and hope for the best.

Keegan smirked slightly at Ilandere's last statement. Might not help anything but it'll make those people know very well what they did to my family, he thought, not heeding her warning at all. "Meh, whatever you say," he said dubiously, finally finding the courage to look at her. "What?" he asked, noticing her sudden change in composure.

Haizea stared at the satyr as she read, slightly enraged that she had the nerve to scold her. Tadi who was totally oblivious, continued to run his mouth. "What do you mean by that, of course she wants to be friends with me! Who cares about a few years missed, right Haizea?" He said with a grin. Haizea just gave him a withering look, making him cringe slightly, but nonetheless perservere with his incessant chatter. "So who is this Sakweeeeea person anyway?" he asked Phinesa, pronouncing the name to the best of his ability.

Eniko began to grow worried. "What if something happened to the teacher?" she said worriedly to Lily, feeling panic starting to set in. "Maybe we're in the wrong place... or maybe something's happening in the school..." She started breathing more heavily and began to grow twitchy, flinching at every sound and ready to bolt. This always happened when she became super nervous. "Maybe there's something wrong..." she continued on, feeling boxed in in the small classroom.

Ember puts away her notebook, and pulls out her mythology book and glances around the room for Tulip. She wonders which one of the girls Tulip is and what she's like. Maybe she could make another friend. Ember wonders how to find her. She doesn't want to go around asking every girl if they were Tulip. Instead she stands up and makes her way to the front of the room. She reaches Master Alexander and asks quietly, "Master Alexander? Which girl is Tulip?" Ember clutches the book to her chest, feeling small in front of the room with all the students in front of her.

Orion wants to fly to Jora's village and give the kids a taste of their own medicine, or at least hug Jora, but he can't do either. He notices how she shivered, and he isn't able to push his anger away this time. He doesn't speak for a long time, trying to shove his anger away, but he can tell he is failing when he clenches his fists. He looks up at Jora, and finally says, "You can't go back to your village," he pauses to calm himself down. After a moment he adds, "At least not alone. What if they try to do it again?!" he almost yells.
