Well, now that she had escaped, she could dream of bigger things now.

(Human D: You know it! *Flips hair*
Me: ... She's got a small ego.xD)

And she still had yet to fully understand that.Her mind set had been branded straight and it was getting a little hard for her to keep up thoughts that wheren't of getting out of chains and things like that.But she did have one other dream now.To always stay by Kate's side.

(Ah, that's okay. We all do, just some more enlarged than others.)

That's really sweet, and she would do anything to keep D with her. She realized how selfish that thought sounded and wondered how selfish this was, to just want D, and now little Saphhire, to stay with her

(Me:Guess your right.
Human D: I ain't got an ego,I'm just better~!
Me: Quiet,or I'll give you a tail.
Human D: Fine.Your loss~.
me: *Facepalms*)

Thought in the way that Kate did and with how she had been hurt before,it wasn't selfish.Rather just wanting to not be alone,to keep those she loves close and not let go ever again. That's totally understandable.But it depended if she was willing enough to keep them so close that it would be only a kinder way of keeping these creatures contained.

(She kind of reminds me of Ian with his overblown ego xD If they ever came to know each other it would either be disastrous or they would get along well)

That's kind of what she felt like she was doing, keeping them prisoner in her home, never wanting them to go out alone, for fear that they might be taken away from her

(Yeah.I think those are pretty accurate predictions.Human D is often more 'Come close,and I'll bring my dagger.We'll have a little party,hows that sound~?' but she can also be 'Oh,I'm sorry that happened....I'm right here,just take or do what you need.' Or even 'You need a hug,i need a cuddle. Perfect situation,come 'ere!'.xD She's mostly the cuddly and protective but will still rip any ones face off for her loved ones.)

But at least she wasn't using things on them to torture them into staying,D stayed by her main will and 4HD just wouldn't want to leave such a kind girl that just so happen to have green eyes as well.

(She sounds pretty awesome to me. Ngl.)

That was true, but she still felt selfish. The only difference between her house and their cells was that it was nicer and didn't have blood stains everywhere.

Yeah,but D liked it a whole lot better because she was given love.She got to love with Kate and didn't have to earn being treated kindly.

And got food whenever Kate had food. Which was pretty often. Three times a day at least.

And that was a whole lot more than she had ever had before.
And now little Sapphire got to learn that there was more to life than 'being good' and 'earning' kindness and food/water.
