"Half-angel?" sputtered Kara at last. "Thats supposed to be impossible!"

"Well... I'm here though." He said, remembering his brother. 'And so was my brother, he'd do better at all this than me.' He thought.

Electa knew that Karas reaction was probably milder than her own had been when shed first found out about Vexin's parentage, but she still hated it. Kara was staring at Vexin as if he were some kind of unthinkable lab experiment.

Despite any level of how it was; Vexin still stared down.

"Vexin and I are together." She put her arm around Vexin's waist. "He almost died in Denver, trying to stop the Second Wave."

Kara didnt move, but Electa had the impression shed just been rocked to the core; that she was even more shocked at this than at the revelation of what Vexin was. "Together," she repeated in a monotone, her chocolate-brown eyes narrowing.

He put an arm around her, feeling a bit better with her so close.

Kara shook her head as if almost disappointed.

That clearly made Vexin feel bad.

Yeah, but...Kara was really stubborn. She and Cully had once had a stand-off for hours over a game of poker--the two of them bickering until late into the night, with Kara demanding that Cully take it outside with her. It had been funny at the time; Electa and Jake had taken bets on who would cave first.

Woah. Now that's seriously stubborn.
