He nodded,then smirked as he tilted his head up and used his fangs to nip at his ear. "Thank you." He said softly. "And if you ever need to feel,I'll be here.For as long as I can,even if that means pushing my soul to last a thousand years."

"I wouldn't ask that of you." Especially if it came with hurting him

He whispered in his ear softly. "You wouldn't have to." Then brushed a kiss to his ear,a warm one ,too.

A shudder racked his body. "You really shouldn't make yourself suffer just for me."

"I wouldn't make myself,I'd be perfectly willing." He slipped back into that sweet and rich dragon tone,warm breath gently brushing Ash's skin.

Ash swallowed hard, trying to register what he just said. It took him a moment, but it happened. "But still. You shouldn't suffer for me."

"Ash~." He said,purring a little softly in a loving way. "Then why have you for me?"

"That was different. You were worth suffering for. I'm not."

Now Jason pulled his head back and looked Ash right in the eyes,purple eyes serious and caring. "Then why do you think I came back? Why I promised to come back? Why I followed you,why I wasn't about to watch you suffer? Ash...I care,and I'm not about to end up dying in maybe five years and dye knowing that you might have to live on with that to some point. And I don't care if I end up forcing myself to live longer than any dragon known, I'd rather suffer on for a thousand years and know you've...left happily,than to dye knowing it would leave you broken and sad."
