Janet didn't look angry, she just looked sad. She wrapped her arms around her waist and mumbled, "I'm gonna go find Austyn." She got up and ran towards the Hermes cabin. Melody watched her go, then looked at Ray and Micah. "Why do you two wanna leave?"

"Someone's got to do my father's job. Can't have monsters rampaging without control everywhere." Ray mutters, feeling a bit bad that Janet had ran off.

Austyn mind got to work in a snap when Janet came to him, but his body was taking longer to respond. "Hi." He slurs, rolling out of bed and popping to his feet a few moments later.

"Oh." Melody hummed before looking down to continue drawing. Micah grabbed Ray's hand, squeezing it lightly.

Janet sniffled, throwing herself at Austyn and hugging him tightly. "M-Micah's leaving with Ray!"

Ray gently squeezed back. He wondered if Janet was going to be ok without Micah.

"What?! Someone's gotta stop him from doing that. He can't do that." Austyn says, hugging Janet and picking her up. He was going to get Riley and Silvia to talk some sense into Micah.

Micah shifted a bit closer to Ray, hugging him and mumbling, "no matter what you say, I'm going."

Janet hid her face, trying not to cry.

"But" Ray stops as he fully takes in what Micah had said and falls quiet again when he realizes he won't be able to change Micah's mind.
"Ok, maybe not what Ray says, but perhaps Riley and I can change your mind? I was going to get Silvia but I remembered she's taking a nap and she needs her beauty sleep, though she is beautiful already, hehe, there I go spouting a bunch of useless words again." Austyn says. Riley folds his arms and frowns.
"You're not allowed to go with Ray. That's final." Riley says shortly.
"I think we have to convince him and use more than that." Austyn lets Riley know.
"Fine. You shouldn't go with Ray because it would weaken our forces here. We need you here. To battle monsters. If Ray is right about them coming." Riley says, obviously having been dragged in this he didn't put all his arguments together in as best a way as he could have.

"I'm not even a good fighter. I'm better at lending medical help, and Ray will need someone to make sure he doesn't mess up his wing. It's not like he could just go to the ER if he injured it again." Micah said. "And don't forget, Riley, you're not my boss. When it comes to me, nothing you say is 'final.' Got it?"
Janet tried to block out the debate, covering her ears.

"Ok," Riley shrugs at Austyn in an 'I tried'. He then turns to Ray, "You treat Micah right and if I hear anything that suggests you didn't, you die." Ray seems fine with that.
Austyn pouts when Riley went away. "Nooooooo. Micah, please stay here! Did Ray pull you into this? Of course he did. You're going with him." Austyn was feeling big sad. He didn't want Micah to leave either.

Micah sighed softly and got up, grabbing Austyn by the shoulders. "Ray didn't pull me into anything. I'm going with him because I'm not ready to say goodbye yet, and I don't want to lose him- especially if I don't even know that I've lost him. I'm sorry, Austyn, but I have to go."

Austyn pauses, "When you put if like that, it makes sense that you want to go with him. I wouldn't want someone I know die but I not know anything about it... But then you might die and I won't know! You should both just stay here and be kuch more safe." Ray stays seated, feeling really bad that he was going to be taking Micah from them.
