Scias stepped out next to her, seemingly speaking in sync with the bird.
But something seemed.. strange. Unreal almost. He was flickering with a strange glitch-like noise here and there.

What is going on? It's always terrifying to hear voices when you weren't supposed to. They come out in a horribly calm way. It sounds like the ocean is talking to you. Except Corasi. She apparently sounds like a song. Her sweet voice filled my head seconds ago, why is it gone? Hexic wrapped his arms tightly around her neck, but making sure he wasn't touching the spot where the button was too tightly.

G-get away from me! What did you do to Scias?! She held Hexic tightly, to keep him safe. What is it you want with me?!

"Why, don't you realize what you are?! Your mother was the most powerful alien ever. And, she abandoned her sister! You have her ablities in your blood and we need them." The beautiful alien hissed.

His form shifted to that of a young, tall woman with a terrifying scorpion tail hanging off the back of her army uniform. Her thick antlers and black eyes were a sharp contrast to her pale skin and long, snow white hair.
"Nothing, my dear. He is right where he should be, as are you and your shapechanging feline friend. Asleep and locked into your assessment chambers. Far out of range to hurt any of us at any rate."

Why cant you just stay away from me?! I dont care if Im some descendant of some powerful alien, just stay away from me and my friends! Anger was bubbling up inside of her.

"I'm afraid we need your abilities in hand, dearest Corasi. It would be too dangerous for us to simply let you wander free in the real world, seeing what we have already of your powers."

The woman stepped forward to gently pet the cat on the head. It would almost be reassuring if it weren't for her clawed nails.

To kill either of you now would be a sorry waste. In time, you and I will see the full strength of your powers, unhindered. Her thought was imprinted into his mind from her light touch.
