It took a long time but he managed to find a deer worthy of a kill. With the gold the animal brought in he was able to buy a dressier tunic, this one being a navy blue with orange thread decorating it down the front. A local elderly woman managed to tame his mane of hair as well, braiding it down the sides and leaving the back in a ponytail, all in exchange for him helping her about her home. Now he stood in front of the castle gates, the letter in hand. Should he really go?

Avery was adjusting his suit. He liked it, seeing as how his mother was working on it for months. It fit him perfectly.

She was waiting for Prince Alexander. She was wearing a beautiful dress, and if Alexander wasn't going to show up then she might as well not go. But, she stayed, waiting.
Serenity
Serenity was already at the ball, greeting people as they arrived. She was very uncomfortable in her dress, yet she didn't say anything about it.
Hasel
She managed to steal a dress, which fit her perfectly. Her hair was somewhat washed, she had washed it in the river, and she was wearing it down. She wanted to go to the ball, though she hoped no one would notice her trying to sneak in.

"Cloud? That's not really a name, but more of a thing." The boy said after a moment of thinking. "Maybe there are human names that mean cloud?" The people around them seemed to all be at the castle for the same reason, the dance. Despite there being this many here he didn't feel anything, he just wanted them to go away. Humans...that was the reason he was in this mess.
