That was smart, but Kate didn't really like leaving D alone. Mostly because of what had happened last time.

That would only keep D safe for a little bit of time,until they would stoop low enough to do something to Kate to have her pass out or something and then just pull the rug from under D but wrap her in it if you know what I mean.

If that happened, once Kate woke up to find D gone again, with no note or anything this time, she would probably cry. For days.

4HD would probably be able to avoid being caught or put out and so she'd probably try to explain it to Kate...best she could with her little sounds.

She would try to understand but probably fail most of the time, mostly because she wouldn't exactly be in her right mind with D gone
