(I have two people named that at my school and they're...different, to put it nicely)

If D left her greatest fear would be coming true. That someone she loved was leaving. Again.

(I only have one,so does my little sister.Mines a boy,a jerk really who likes smacking people and spinning in the air while he falls for some reason,and my little sisters is a girl,a very sweet little one for a matter of fact.)

D would never,by her will,leave Kate permanently.She'd never,but she didn't realize that the ending terror of their job would only leave her back in the terror of her former life.

(Both of the ones at my school are boys, and I'm not sure why I don't like them, they just don't sit well with me, you know?)

And without anything to do, Kate would want to go outside, anywhere else besides the house

(Yeah,I totally get that.Same with mine,he's alright but I just don't feel right about him.And I usually like everyone when I meet them,then I learn just by how much i like them.)

D would just let herself be tortured and hunted,she wouldn't care anymore.She'd let herself be tested and she'd even down poisons if it meant she'd feel any pain other than the pain she'd have of losing Kate or leaving her.

(Yeah, same here)

Kate would probably do something suicidal, not wanting to feel the pain again

(Huh,I seriously felt I was just weird.And before you say anything, your not weird and I guess I'm not either.)

D would feel horrible and rather feel pain on her body for as long as she lived instead of feeling emotional pain.

(Okay xD)

Kate agreed with that, not liking emotional hurting at all

Nor did D like it.At all.And so she'd even cause pain to herself while others weren't hurting her.

To Kate, that seemed a little extreme, but if it prevented emotional pain she didn't entirely blame her

Honestly,it did stop emotional pain in her.And so it worked.
