So Max isn't actually Serena's brother. Serena is probably somehow changing his thoughts or something. "Ha," I say. "Your magic probably welcomes you anywhere. It's your magic, after all." Then, I whisper to Exponentia, "Can you try to see if Serena is controlling Max's thoughts, or anything similar?"
