Ghost kept a straight face, knowing the best way to hide a mistake was to simply leave it be. It was an easy thing to do with the ever-furrowed brow of a bird of prey. Yeah. She was loud and annoying. He remarked, staying on subject. He cast Val a glance, then looked back at Tails.

Holter chuckled. He didn't hear the mistake.

Tails smiled, "But she was almost always drawing and tinkering." he said fondly, Val nodded, "She did tell me once that she knew someone by the name Dizzy." she said, she didn't know her mother had known a wolf from Angel Island.

Ghost chuckled. Dizzy is one of the resident wolves. He's an older guy now, close to the end of his lifespan, and doesn't do much hunting these days, but you can still see his son Daxton (D.J. for short) running around. He said.
Holter frowned. "Like, wild wolves?"
Ghost looked up at him. Yeah, but they'll leave you alone for the most part.

(Why is a wolf concerned about wolves? *shrugs*)

Val nodded as she rifled through her pictures that her mother had drawn, a picture of her grandparents fell out, Val picked it up and wondered where her parents and grandparents were.

Holter looked at Val and snapped his fingers near her ear. "Hey. Mobius to Valery," He said. "You're socializing here, remember?"

Ghost chuckled softly.

Val immediately looked up, snapping out of her daze, Val put away her pictures, she had never been good at socializing since everyone she met never wanted to talk to her, Tails smiled, "You really do remind me of Kit." he said fondly, Val smiled sadly.

Ghost chuckled once more. Sure does. Kit always had her nose in her pictures.

Val hadn't known her mother that much, to her, her mom was more of a ghost rather than a relative, Val fiddled with her fingerless gloves not knowing what to say next, Tails noticed this, "Can you draw like Kit?" he asked, he was curious but also wanted Val to be less nervous, Val shrugged.

Holter flicked an ear curiously. "Can you try?" He asked.

Val took out a pencil and a blank piece of paper, she started to sketch a picture of the group laughing and smiling, Tails looked at it with wide eyes, he was amazed at how well Val could sketch.
