"I hate you!" Mona chided to the ball gown as she spun in front of the mirror. Her eyes narrowed as she nearly tripped. "Now, you better behave or else I will not hesitate in throwing you out a window." The dress was a dark maroon, lined with gold cloth- both colors that she personally felt complemented her tanned skin. It was difficult to walk in however, and she had no idea how she was supposed to dance in it.

Rachelle hopped into her carriage, her mother Rapunzel laughing as she did. "Careful, Rach," The queen said, tucking her own short hair behind one ear as her daughter sat beside her. The two women wore lavender and white dresses, and looked extremely similar. The only difference was their hair.

Reid hid beside the entrance to Prince Avery's castle, watching as the guests entered. His dark hair had been combed back and he had taken a bath, but it was only to sneak in. He had stolen a formal suit from a dress shop somewhere in the town- he hoped it was enough of a diversion from his lack of etiquette and the scars on his face when he was inside.
