Orion knew he wasn't going to convince her. Not right now anyway. He pulled out the books he needed for class.

Jora turned looking at the front. She was grateful that today's lessons didn't involve talking to your class partner. She really didn't feel like trying to figure out if Orion was telling her the truth about anything. She knew a lot of what he had said earlier wasn't true.

Jora heard the bell ring for the end of class and launched up from her seat, grabbing her sketchbook and ran out the door and down the hall hoping to get around the corner before anyone saw which way she went. She used the palm of her hand to wipe at her eyes as they started getting wet. She wasn't sure if Orion had been lying or not, but if he wasn't she knew didn't deserve friends like him. "Just a mutt..." She whispered to herself as she rounded the corner.

(No, no it's fine! Keep it, I like it!)

Orion shoved his chair backward, grabbing his bag and sprinting after Jora. He didn't see her, but he heard her footsteps round the corner. He sprinted after her, ignoring the glances the other students shot at him. "Jora! Wait!" he yelled after her, determined to get her to listen to him this time.

Ember stood up and tried to follow the two, but they were gone. She decided to fond Alderic, A'ine, or A'eda'n instead. She wandered the halls, but found herself hopelessly lost, and too shy to ask for directions. She felt rather stupid for wandering off. She should have just headed to the cafeteria. 'A'ine? Where are you?' She asked, trying to come off as curious instead of nervous. She doubted it would work though.

(Oh my gosh! I just had the PREFECT idea for a new character! Can I make him? ^^)

Jora quickly wiped at her eyes to make sure they weren't wet in case Orion found her. She didn't want him to see her crying... again. She walked a little fast as she looked around for anywhere to hide from him but the hall she was in was rather empty and only a couple of doors were there. She walked up to one and pressed into the doorway after finding it locked. She hoped if she was quiet that maybe Orion would walk right past her.

A'ine smiled as Alderic was telling her all about how a certain flip was done. 'You rang?' She sent back to Ember feeling a slight unease in her friend's thoughts.

(Sure!)

"Jora!" Orion ran after her, only see the last bits of her shoes or bag around the corners. He lost her after a corner, and stopped, panting. "I am that scary?" he asked aloud. He began to walk down the halls. He wandered down a few more hallways before finding Jora hidden in a doorway. "Why did you run?" he asked her, trying to catch his breath.

'Uhh I sorta kinda got lo-' She yelped as someone ran into her sending her sprawling on the ground. They mumbled a 'sorry' as they passed. "Ow..." she said, more as a statement than a complaint. She stood up, and moved out of the flow of students. And realized they were all heading the same way. She felt rather stupid again, realizing she could have just followed them to the cafeteria. (I called it the 'lunch room' when I first typed it) She began to follow them down the hall.

Jora looked away closing her eyes. "Because..." She started trying to think of a good reason. Sure she had plenty of reasons but she didn't want to say any to him. She swallowed hard. "Because... I didn't want to be around a lot of people right now." She said looking behind Orion.

Mitchel saw the girl fall. He was going to help her up but she got up by herself. He walked up next to her. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked pulling on the shoulder strap of his guitar. He recognized her from his class. (Can Ember not recognize him from class? ^^)

A'ine froze. 'Ember are you alright?' She asked looking around for her friend. She wasn't sure what had cut her off and didn't like it.

"Do you want me to leave?" Orion asked, not sure if he would leave even if she said yes.

Ember jumped in surprise. "Fine, thank you," she said, not bitterly, just in her usual shy voice. 'I'm fine' She sent hurriedly to A"ine. She didn't want to explain what happened. She felt something trickling down her leg, and looked down to see she was bleeding. Darn it. It didn't hurt that much so why I am bleeding? She checked her other knee, glad to see that although it was slightly raw, it wasn't bleeding.

Jora shook her head slowly. "No... Not if you don't want to." She said quietly and slipped past him and continued down the hall. "Though I'm sure you do..." She whispered to herself as she wrapped her fingers around her book so tightly that her fingers turned white.

Mitchel followed her gaze. He reached his hand back and grabbed a bandanna out of his guitar case. "Here, tie this around your leg." He held it out to her with a smile. "You're Ember right?" He asked hoping he remembered correctly.

A'ine wasn't sure that she was telling the truth the first time then over heard her next thought. 'Where are you?' She asked looking around some more.
