"He... said I had to kill you... I hid you... so you wouldn't get hurt," She said sadly crying even more, "He was so mad... said he was so glad I w-wasn't his real daughter... but he tried to make me tell him... where you were."

His eyes went wide, tears brimming them. "b-but... you didn't tell him." He buried his face in her neck, closing his eyes.

She shook her head, not able to speak. She held him close, petting his head gently with a hand.
"The reason w-why... is your... inbred... impure... or at least th-hat's shat your father... thinks."

"B-but he said he loved me." He said softly.

"He's manipulative. He says only lies. If he loved you he would have found you way earlier, because I would have let him find you," She whispered back.

His heart broke, remembering how his father had treated him. He had believed him, with all his heart, but now he knew it was all fake. Lies. He sniffled, tears running down his cheeks.

Silk held him close, patting his back a bit, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you or visit. He would have found you if I did. I didn't want you to have to deal with him."

"Th-that's oka-ay." He said, but he still felt really sad.

She nodded, though she didn't look convinced, "We can play my favorite game, spider and fly. It always cheers me up. Even as old as I am now."

"O-okay." He sniffled. "I haven't played anything before, Jasper is too old he says for those things." He said, managing a smile as he wiped away his tears.
