As you investigate the ledge, you hear some rustling from inside the cave then a frustrated sigh.

A human potion would change her into a human and a mermaid potion would turn you into mermaid. Sorry it wasn't clear.

As you follow them deeper and deeper into the forest, they branch out in multiple directions.
Straight ahead of you is a huge path of glowing mushrooms, the fairy lights are closer to the ground here.
To your left, the fairy lights are higher up in the trees, and you can hear snoring.
To your right the fairy lights are at about the same height as the path you were just on, but there are a lot more.
