Jora sighed again. "Why would they admire me? I can't do anything right..." She whispered in a small voice. She heard someone come into the classroom. She knew Master Alexander would greet the person so she didn't turn to see who it was.

Master Alexander looked up from his papers over the rim of his glasses. "Good morning, Miss Ember. Did you sleep well last night, child?" He asked smiling widely as he looked back down at his papers keeping his head turned toward her.

Alderic rubbed his hands together. This was going to be fun..

(XD There are worse things...)

"That's not true. You made four friends, so you must be doing something right. And I would ask Ember for the answer to that question," Orion said, glad Ember had walked in. Maybe she could help him convince Jora that they did like her.

"Fine, thank you," Ember said politely, but softly. She slid into the seat behind Jora. "Ask me what?" she asked quietly. 'A'ine. Jora's here.' She sent, wanting A'ine to know that Jora was alright. She did notice that Jora did look upset though.

(*yawns* Yes, there are!)

Jora stared a head no paying attention to Orion. She was sure he would take it back. I'll mess up and someone would get hurt besides me and they will all hate me. She thought to herself with a large sigh. Why would they want to be friends with me anyway? I'm not pretty, I'm not smart.... I'm nothing...

A'ine heard Ember and concentrated on her. 'How bad does she look?' She asked knowing that Jora hadn't slept at all.

"Jora, why don't you believe me?" Orion asked. He didn't sound hurt or angry, just curious, wondering what he could say to make her believe him. He hated it when she sighed like that.

Ember glanced at Jora and then at Orion's face. 'Not so good. Orion's trying to talk to her.'

Jora shrugged as much as she could with her arms still on her desk.

A'ine sighed. 'Maybe you should try and help him out a bit. Two heads are better then one.' She suggested to Ember she wondered why Jora need Orion to talk to her. 'What's he even saying Ember? Why is he talking to Jora?' She asked getting a little worried.

Orion sighed. "We don't hate you Jora. You're nice, and a really good artist, and you're brave and-"

Ember cut in, following A'ine's advice "and you're tough and pretty," she added, having no idea if they were good compliments it not, she thought they were true though. 'He's trying to convince Jora that we like her. Anything you want to say to her?'

Orion was surprised, but glad that Ember had stepped in. He turned away from Jora because he was blushing.

Jora smiled a almost non existing smile. "That's nice of you to say..." She cut off not thinking about what to say next. She opened her eyes a little and saw Ember standing looking at her and Orion looking away. Maybe Orion doesn't agree with Ember... I know don't I'm just about as ugly as you can get... She closed her eyes again.

A'ine froze in class. 'No! I mean I don't think that would be the best idea...' She mnd spoke almost shooting the no. 'I hurt her last time I was in her mind. I won't do that to her again.'

"We're not just saying it, it's true," said Orion, turning back to face her now that his blush had lessened slightly.

'I meant, I could pass on the message verbally. Sorry, I wasn't clear' Enter sent.

Jora shook her head again. "No it's not." She sat back in her chair, her hair falling out of her lose bun hidding her face.

Master Alexander saw the rest of his class follow in. "Come, find a seat we shall be starting class soon."

A'ine rubbed her eyes. 'I doubt she'll listen to me any more then she'll listen to Orion... And she not even listening to him on this one.'
