4HD was pushing herself up the stairs on her belly backwards,little tail up as she wiggled,or tried to,up. She couldn't fly yet so her wings did no good.

The gash was fairly deep,maybe an inch or so,but not as bad as it could have been if D had ended up staying longer.

D held with that hand onto the couch the whole time Kate did,trying not to show any sign of pain otherwise.
There was a thump from 4HD rolling down from the fifth step but she giggled and patting sounds as she started going back up backwards.
