You stab the dagger in. This time it's a much more direct hit. You can tell it must hurt a lot by the way he is squirming.

His leg now looks pretty bad. You think you see a bit of bone, and he is losing blood rapidly.

"I can heal him up if you want when your done. But only the blood loss, not the pain or disfigurement." Flower says coldly.

I'm still me, so I pity the dragon. "Please do," I tell Flower. "He may be a monster, a bully, whatever you want to call him, but he still has a life. I don't care if he doesn't have a family or if his family is as horrible as him too. Every single living thing in this universe deserves to live a full life and die peacefully at the end. I really am sorry for hurting him so much, honestly." I sigh. "But some things have to be done. Heal him up, please? Please don't let him die. Also, can you heal me too?" I look around for my second knife I'd dropped earlier.

As you walk forward, you see a huge gorge before you. It stretches all the way to the force field to the left, and you can't tell exactly how far to the right, but it's a long ways.

She concentrates and the wound begins to seal up a little. The blood also stops flowing out. She keeps the vines on him, and turns to you, doing the same thing.

You gain 1 health.

She mutters in your ear,
"I would do more, but I'm really low on magic energy. I want to save all i can for if he tries to attack us again.
And though you can pity the Dragons, remember this: while a few Nogars have sided with Dragons and betrayed their own kind, Dragon never have. There is no good in them. They think only of revenge, suffering, and themselves. Some even enjoy their own pain.
You can never trust a Dragon. Sparkburn will plan his revenge on us both for denying him this much treasure his whole life. You saw his work? He enjoys it. He might also hate us for crippling him, but as a dragon gold is a higher priority. Everyone gets scars, buy the wealth of a dragon shows how powerful and highly respected he is."

As she turns back to slowly unravel her Vine Clutch, you turn and see your knife on the cave floor. Picking it up, you think about what Flower said.

I turn and go east walking next to the Gorge

As you walk along, you can't help but peek over. A river is flowing at the bottom, taking up the whole space. There isn't any land at the bottom.

Well that's a comfort to know that if you fall you MIGHT survive. XD

"Um, could I take some of his gold? I'm kind of poor, and remember, I'm headed to a village. You'd point me in the right direction, right?" I ponder her words as I look for something to clean the blood of my knives. "Also, I'm planning on training. You can come with me if you take the form of a Nogar, I suppose. We can get stronger so that even if Sparkburn will be back for his revenge, we'll be ready. What do you say? Adventure with me and save the lives of many creatures?"

Don't forget to ping! :D) He nods, considering it. "Well Snini9, i don't think i can move much still, but i am feeling much better. You should have breakfast, and then i can teach you a little about fighting, the lands or history if you want. Any would probably be very helpful to you, since it seems you have either lost your memory or some other circumstance has taken place."

"Well when you put it that way it becomes impossible for me to say no." Flower pouts.
"And really, it's not his gold. It belongs to the Nogar family, or if you follow dragon rules, whoever defeats him and wants to take it. Since the remainders of the Nogar family are under your care, AND you helped defeat him, it looks like yours to me. I certainly don't want any."

You look around the room and estimate there is probably about 5,000 gold. Not an enormous amount, although still large. There is no way you would be able to carry it all however.

I added 2 new things in town: a bank and the elder! Check them out when you have time!

I also added another storage rule near the bottom of the first post, under the starter inventory.
