Notch Nods and flicks his tail before padding off through the forest quickly almost leaving Snowey behind " Sorry for the fat pace, but these woods a wicked scary when it gets dark so I'd rather get out of them "

She looks alarmed. It's almost dark, like, it 10 minutes...

He nods and picks up the pace " We will camp at the gate tonight"

She follows him.

they make it back to the clearing they started at with the clouds reflecting the sun set. Brilliant golds and Purples Pounced off the pillowy clouds like playful kittens. Notch sighed " I'll take watch for the night"

You sure? she says. You look really tired...

He looks at her for a moment and smiles "I'm Fine Love, get some rest" And with that he lays down gazing at the sun set the purples and golds blending with his back and orange fur

She stares for a bit, then curls up. She sleeps.

A few hours pass and the sun sets behind the clouds Notch shifts and turns towards the woods Sitting himself between it and Snowey. His ears Were pinned forward like horns as he waited for the madness to start. Not long after the sun had set fully and the first rays of the moon hit the tops of the trees Notch could hear the cackling start, then the distant howling started with each passing minute the howls and cackling became louder and more violent..... Until they stopped completely. As soon as the sounds stopped Notch was on his feet with his long black sword held firmly in his jaws and his ears flat against his head.
