Agana mumbled something Glitch couldn't hear so she just ignored it.

"You know he's fine carrying her. She's a girl, not a boulder."

Then she remembered Pine talking to him about a woman before Ceres and Snowfall showed up.

With her interest piqued, she walked beside him.
"So... What was that about a weird woman liking you?"
She spoke quietly so no one else could hear.

"Geh..." He said, unevenly. "More trouble..." He could only think. "*Sigh*, just...a long story. Look, you just need to know she's out my life now. She's a real pain to deal with, anyways..." He said, shaking his head.

(@Amberanime na she hasn't told u guys yet, but u can assume he has some sort of feeling with the way she's acting that she had some child in her life that has caused her to react that way.)

"Okay." She said simply.

Glitch was disappointed she didn't get an answer out of him but he seemed to be warming up to her and she didn't want to push her luck. Maybe she could get some more information from Pine.

She decided to ask him when they next made camp. With the little one with them she doubted they'd make it to the next town today.

Pine was smiling and being amused by everybody's antics.

Glitch was right, he had no problems carrying Snow.

Agana and Glitch where also busy bothering eachother. Best to let them be. (and he means bothering the nicest of ways)

Knowing those 2 would be fine, and Val and Ice where talking together about something as well, he decided to talk with their new member. He walked over to her.

There was just something in her eyes.

'Hey,'

'So what or who did they take from you? If it is ok to ask that is. You don't have to say if you don't want too.'

Pine added that last part quickly. Not wanting Ceres to feel like she was forced to answer.

Ceres paused, unsure to give the truth... "Something very dear to me... Something that those men will wish they never took when I get my paws on them." She said a fierce look in her eyes. "There is nothing like it in the world, and never will be... and if something happens to it I will kill them all... And since u are ever so observant you can probably guess, that little snow here reminds me of that something..." her eyes becoming more serene as they looked towards Snowfall.

"I´m sorry, I hope we will get her back as well. Knowing you are chasing the same men as me, I think it is safe to say my family and your little one would be at the same place. For what it is worth, my dad is really strong and looks after every sylestie he can, my brother and mother too. I´m sure if they see a little one alone they will look out for her. She will not be alone."

And Pine truly did believe that.

A tad embarrassed from the spark of kindness, Ceres simply nods, hopping no one would notice her embarrassment. No one had shown interest in her before or her sister. The idea that her sister was safe regardless of her being with a bunch of dangerous men made her feel more at ease.

Pine smiled. Maybe this was going to work out after all. He would get his family back, and now also Ceres sister. At least he asumed it was a sister. She could be a niece, or a neightbour girl he suposed. But he knew that look in her eyes. It's the way Kaz would look at Glitch, and how Fern would look at him.

.. Fern, was he alright? Pine had to believe he was. Looking ahead he noticed a crossroad.

He turned to Glitch and Agana. 'Hey you too almost done bickering?' Pine teased.

'Because we are about to reach a crossroad and I don't really know which way we should go, and would love to hear what you guys think.'

He also turned to the other companions. 'Your toughts too of course.'
