Good,D was glad. She then searched through the lower page and then the others.She colored the words she wanted Kate to read. Once she finished she held the pen in her hands again and put the cap back on,...that took a minute of trying,but it got on. She then put it down and left the books aranged in order of the words and then,taking a deep breath,padded off to the door.

(I had to go to dishes too, so no worries)

Kate hadn't stirred again

D looked back,tail twisting,then carefully opened the door and slipped out silently,closing it quietly behind her.

Kate slept soundly

D took in the air and looked around,remembering the direction she'd wandered from and sighed. "Back...." She then started off at a steady jog,rather a fast prance.

Kate still slept, but would soon wake

So D had to move,fast. She pranced along,soon going through alleys she'd come to know and shadows and corners.

Kate soon woke, expecting to see D. When she wasn't there, she wasn't worried at first. Maybe she just hadn't been tired or something.

D was twisting her fingers around as she went along,darting here and there....heading for the edge of town to the woods.The woods rumored to have crazies and things like that,but she was going somewhere that not a lot of people knew about.The Henderic Laboratory for special studies. Where she'd grown up...for twelve years.And she was going right back there.
