" She said with a crooked smile. Moments later a nurse came in the check on her, and to put fresh bandages on her wounds.. when the nurse got to the now bloodied bandages that were wrapped thick around Ravens broken legs, Raven tensed.. she seemed frightened.

"What's wrong?" Rowan asked gently. He then said louder and to the nurse, "careful, her legs probably still hurt like hell."

The nurse nodded understandingly and was careful with the bandages.. but Raven still cried out in pain.. her legs had been broken in several areas, and she had just had finished getting them put back together.. not to mention everything was still sensitive.

"I'm sorry," Rowan apologized for Ravens pain. "They're just doing that so it doesn't get infected and make everything worse. "

" It's fine. " Her voice cracked slightly as she tried not to make another sound as they cleaned the wounds, it throbbed, and she most defiantly did not like this one bit, though she doubted anyone would like this.

"And they didn't give you anything else to focus on? Not even a stress ball or something? What kind of hospital is this? "

" I'd break anything they would give me. " She said with a weak, halfhearted laugh followed by a heavy wince of pain, tears had started to spill from her eyes but she tried to handle as well as she could as they finished her left leg.
